We Dream in Color and Print, Too!
Funded May 8, 2024I hope you're doing well! I wanted to take a moment to sincerely thank you for the wonderful color printer you gifted to our classroom.
Having this printer has really made a difference in our learning environment. It has allowed us to create bright, engaging materials that truly capture the kids' attention. From fun art projects to colorful educational resources, we've been able to bring lessons to life in a whole new way!
The children absolutely love seeing their work in color, and it's so rewarding to see their creativity spark. The printer has also helped us with interactive activities that support their early literacy and cognitive skills, making learning even more enjoyable.
Thank you once again for your generous gift. It's truly appreciated, and it brings so much joy to our classroom!”

Funded Nov 29, 2023Students were excited and very eager to use their new materials. They loved the interactive dry-erase boards for phonics practice and appreciated the organization provided by the folders. The mailboxes added a fun element, making them eager to receive feedback.
We have been using our dry-erase boards and markers for interactive phonics activities, like segmenting and blending sounds. Students enjoyed using the boards to practice new words and track their progress. Pocket folders helped to keep their papers, worksheets, and practice sheets organized. Mailboxes were used to distribute feedback and track progress, adding a personal touch to their classroom organization.
The materials have significantly enhanced our classroom's learning experience. Thank you for your generous support!”

It's Not Just A Phase!
Funded Dec 9, 2022It is with great excitement that I write this letter to you. Your generous donation made it possible for my students to have an incredible learning experience about the moon. They were able to explore the moon's craters, learn about its impact on Earth, and engage in discussions about space travel. The fascination with moon phases and uncovering myths and legends turned learning about the moon into a fun and magical journey. Thank you for making this stellar experience possible for my curious little learners!”

Funded May 8, 2024Thank you so much for your generous donation! Your contribution will go a long way in keeping our classrooms clean and sanitized.
A clean and healthy environment is essential for young children, as it helps to reduce the spread of germs and illnesses. It also creates a more pleasant and inviting space for them to learn and grow.

Funded Nov 29, 2022We have been using the materials from this project for a few months now. When my scholars first receieved our sight word sentence builders, elkonin boxes, and sound walls kit, they were very curious. They enjoyed exploring our new materials and trying to figure out how we would use them in class.
Since the unboxing, my scholars have used the sentence builders in work stations. They work together to create complete sentences using correct grammar and spelling. My scholars use the elkonin boxes during our small group instruction to identify sounds in words. They have drastically improved their letter sound correspondence.
A strong early literacy program is crucial to the development of strong readers. Your funding of this project has enhanced our ELA classroom. My scholars are better readers and communicators because of your help!”

Funded Oct 22, 2022As the school year is coming to an end, I have had time to reflect. First off, I am beyond grateful for your help in making this school year a smooth one. Your donations helped to supply us with a classroom supply of very useful materials that helped to make classroom procedures and routines manageable.
I was able to incorporate the use of a mailbox system. Students were assigned jobs, one of which was the weekly mailperson. The mailperson had the responsibility of returning assignments by placing the work in the mailbox. Scholars had a set place to store their folder each day, receive messages, and place their graded work.
I was able to have students label textbooks, workbooks, and various other items using the sharpie makers. Students used their dry erase markers and dry erasers daily. My scholars each had their own set off dry erase supplies to use during Fundations, workstations, and independent seat work. They had access to replacement supplies if needed.
First graders are learning the value of independence and responsibility. With your help, I was able to provide a learning environment that fostered independence and autonomy. The seeds planted in my students will forever grow and help make them contributing members of our society. For that, I can't thank you enough.”

Snip, Snap, Document!
Funded Mar 2, 2022Thank you so much for helping us have access to cameras in our classroom. My scholars are so grateful for our instant cameras that they are constantly asking to use them. Everyday since they arrived, my scholars have asked to take pictures. At first, they wanted to take pictures of every and any thing. Now, they have learned to use them in a more meaningful way. They take pictures of their collaborative assignments to share with their families, their independent projects to share with their class, and various objects to offer visual support for their writing. As I write this, my scholars have already created a photo collage of the things that are most important to them. They shared their photo collage with the class as a community building activity.
Your donation has brought photography into our classroom in a way that is crosscurricular. With your help, my students have learned a new way to share their learning.”

Funded Oct 22, 2021"Thank you" is simply not enough to express the extreme gratitude we have for your donation toward our books. These books have made achieving the Common Core Standards fun and exciting. We spend time comprehending the texts by discussing various text features, different writing concepts, and the pictures to name a few.
My scholars are so happy with each and every one of our unit themed books that they often request to read the books independent of our lessons. They love to read and reread the books looking for information they previously missed and they enjoy using different reading strategies with their peers. Our classroom books have supported learning and strengthening a love for reading.
The love of reading is invaluable. Thank you so much for making this possible for my scholars. Now, many of them are excited to be authors.”

Funded Oct 19, 2021Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!! We want to thank you so much for providing us with a safe and easily accessible way to store and manage our supplies. Our storage shelf and storage bins have made a world of a difference in our classroom.
When my scholars saw the huge box, they were so excited to find out what was in there. We all unboxed the storage shelf together and they immediately claimed which cubby would belong to them. Although my students love to share, they were happy to know that they would have their own designated space to keep their classroom supplies.
With the need for social distancing, the shelves allow each student to house their individual materials without mixing them with other students' materials. Each cubby is labeled with a number that matches each student's bin. The bins are labeled with their names so that they are easy to find. Inside the bins, my students keep their headphones, crayons, pencils, login cards, color pencils, erasers, dry erase markers, and ELA manipulatives. Soon, they will be able to keep their research notes in their too!
We just want to say thank you for your continuous support of our classroom and our learning. With your help, we are able to do engage so much more!”

Ms. Gibbons
