Read & Achieve! Help Make Reading Magical in 1st Grade!
Funded Apr 20, 2013Thank you so much for your generous gift to my classroom! My students are so excited to have the added resources that make reading instruction in our classroom come alive! Because of your gift, my students are well on their way to a successful road in reading! I am over the moon!
My students were so excited to see the new Talk Tracker! We use it to do various things during our reading lessons! We record our small group reading lessons, sight words, and oral reading practice sessions. We also record ourselves reading our favorite books, upload them to the computer and share the recordings with our parents.
The Differentiated Small Group Reading Lesson book has helped me so much to develop meaningful small group lessons which will help my students to accomplish their goals in reading. The tool is vital to my lesson planning and has given me excellent ideas that I use and will continue to use to teach my students this year.
Again, I am so grateful to you both. Your kindness has truly made a difference in my classroom! I am so happy and overjoyed! From the bottom of our 1st grade hearts, my students and I want to say thank you for your generous donation which helped bring reading to life in our classroom! We love you!”
With gratitude,
Ms. Frazier
Up, Up, and Away! Help Bring Learning to Life in 1st Grade!
Funded Jul 17, 2012It is with great pleasure that I share with you the joys of reading that have developed in my students because of your kind and generous donation of Scholastic News Magazines. My students use the magazines each and every day and each issue has helped my children to make connections both in the classroom and in the community.
Since implementing the Scholastic News Magazines in my classroom, my reading scores have improved and my students are excited about reading the various topics presented through the magazines. The interactive and digital magazine resources are a perfect addition to my teaching library. My students love interacting on our Promethean Board, watching the learning videos, and playing the engaging educational games.
Your donation to my classroom has truly been a dream come true. I know that as much as I wanted to have these magazines in my classroom, I could not personally afford to give them to my students. Because of you, my students can explore the world through the platform of Scholastic News Magazines. Thanks again for your lovely gift to my students.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Frazier
