  • It’s Time to Learn With My Peers!

    Funded Dec 13, 2024

My students were thrilled to have the half-moon table for our small group activities! It has provided them with a dedicated space to engage in literacy activities, participate in discussions, and collaborate with their peers. This setup has also allowed me to effectively reteach concepts and closely monitor their progress. One memorable moment was seeing a group of students confidently take turns reading aloud and helping each other decode challenging words—something they hesitated to do before. The table has truly fostered a more interactive and supportive learning environment!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Ayala

  • Super 1st Grade Readers

    Funded Oct 30, 2024

Thanks to the generous donations we've received, we've been able to provide our students with essential literacy manipulatives that are transforming the way they learn and engage with reading and writing. These hands-on tools, such as letter tiles, word cards, and phonics games, are proving to be invaluable in helping students develop essential literacy skills.

Literacy manipulatives allow for differentiated instruction, meeting students at their individual learning levels. Whether a student is just beginning to read or advancing to more complex reading tasks, manipulatives can be tailored to their specific needs, providing the right level of challenge and support.”

  • Pre-K Adventures!

    Funded Aug 18, 2023

My students got excited as the big boxes came in. They helped me open each box, and I couldn't wait to try the new materials. We started our school year the best possible way with smiles and gratitude to our donors who support their education and experience in Pre-K.

We started to introduce the different materials in different areas, and they were counting and tracing their lines and started to exercise their motor skills with the tweezers. They loved the new blocks and were amazed when they saw they were made of cardboard.

My kids had fun playing with the big boxes, and we have been using Alexa as a timer to keep track of our daily activities. Our students take turns to ask Alexa how the weather is outside before we go to the playground.

Thank you for supporting my kids and making them smile.”

  • Creativity is the Secret Sauce to STEM!

    Funded Aug 27, 2022

My students were amazed when I introduced the light table. When I turned it on, they were like, "WHAT DID YOU DO? HOW? " When I changed the table to different color settings, they said, "whoa, Ms. Ayala is like magic." Their smile and curiosity warm my heart, and gratitude to you for supporting my project.

I placed the light table in our science area where my students can use the manipulatives to explore and learn. Currently, my students are working on their Math Common Core Standards: Understand the relationship between numbers and quantities; connect counting to cardinality. I will be using the light manipulatives that also, thanks to your donation, we can use these materials for my students to improve their Math skills.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Ayala
