    The binders and folders were given to students that did not have these items. We use both the binders and folders for subject notes and materials.

  • Batters Up!

    Thank you so much for the JUGS Lite-Flite softball pitching machine and the battery pack. Our team was able to use the pitching machine to practice hitting without the fear of getting hurt. We also used it to field pop flies in the outfield without tripping over the cord. We used the machine every practice.

Thanks to the document camera, I am able to provide a real-time visual of examples and work problems out with them step by step. In my buddy reading station, students are utilizing the floor chairs.   • Healthy Snacks & Tech

    Funded Nov 3, 2017

    Thank you so much for the microwave, mini fridge and Chromebooks. My students use these items on a daily basis. The microwave and mini fridge are used everyday. The students are so happy they can bring in their yogurt, cheese, and milk for snack time. They also bring back their milk from lunch and place in the fridge to drink later in the day. The microwave was also very appreciated. We have made hot coco on cold days and popcorn for fun Fridays.

    Thanks to your Chromebooks, I am able to provide an additional technology center for my students to rotate to during reading/writing small groups. This is their favorite rotation. The are able to go on to MobyMax and Read Theory to supplement the information we are learning in class with individualized learning lesson based on their needs. These educational program makes learning fun and the children retain the information better when they have fun learning.

The students were already accustomed to having certain classroom materials from their former teacher.   • Hands-On Math Tools

    Thank you so much for the math manipulatives. My students use these items on a daily basis. The math manipulatives are used in are afternoon math lessons. The students have used the centimeter cubes, measuring tapes and rulers to learn how to measure in different units. The place value disk were used to help students understand place value and how to regroup or borrow when adding and subtracting. With the place value disk, the student were able to visualize what happens when you need to borrow from the tens place.
