• Distantly Learning Together

  With your donation, my students are safely learning and growing in the classroom. With the dry erase markers and erasers my students are able to actively think and participate during ELA and Math lessons. They are also able to use the play dough for phonemic practice and to create during unwind time. They have everything the need in one place without having to share or risk getting sick.

  When my students first saw their survival kit ( what I put together with r donated supplies), they were every excited and eager to take responsibility for it. They are able to keep resources that they use in one place.

  My next steps for my students to to create a 3D book report with boxes and needed crafts. thanks to the donations, everything that they need to complete this project will be in their survival kit.

• Tablets are the Cure! (1)

  I just want to thank you for your financial and moral support for our classroom. With your help, my students are able to use technology and explore more reading and literacy adventures. We are still working on finding more effective programs and apps to incorporate into the tablets. These tablet will help my students grow as independent readers and researchers. This will also help them build more literacy and math skills during workstations. With the effects of COVID-19 and having to take a pause; the process is still on-going. God-willing, when we return to the classroom, my students will have more opportunities to use the tablets. Thank you once again for your generosity and support. My hope is keep you up to date on how are doing in classroom with the tablets. Thank you once again! ”

• Teacher Laptop Needed!

  I can never thank you enough for your generosity and support concerning this project. With your donation, I am able to use this laptop to create effective and exciting lessons for my students. Collecting and tracking student Data has become easier as well. My favorite classroom moment was seeing my students actively engaged and enjoying the India research and craft stations I created as part of our school's international Festival this year. With this laptop, I had access to updated programs that I was able to utilize and create child-friendly activities that my students could implement on their own. They loved it!

  Moving forward, I will continue to strengthen my technological skills and use them to create a more student-centered and driven classroom. My dream is to one day provide a tablet for each of my students to increase engagement and to make it easier for my students to individually access the activities I create through my laptop!
