My school just took over a new Moderate Severe program. We are lacking basic supplies in the classroom. My students need a lay down area where they can relax and spend time outside of their wheelchairs. We have mats that are old, pillows that have stains, and a bean bag that is deflated. This will help my students relax after to much stimulation, in a comfortable environment where they can stretch their legs. We currently do not have a library. Some of my kids can't read, and need books that can help them start. This classroom used to belong to students who were reading at a much higher reading level. We had to donate all of the books to other classrooms. Having books that can help my students read will only build their confidence. They also need support with toileting and already in week one are asking parents for more wipes. This is a new program that needs your support! Please help my high school class. I also, added fun things like building blocks, a bouncy ball, and basketball for fun outdoor play. The balls we were using were deflated.
