Students will be able to work together and learn as a whole group in order to participate together in learning. This carpet will allow students to work together instead of individually at their tables. Students will be able to be engaged, participate and learn when interacting with each other and the teacher when in direct contact. This will also allow for students' behavior to be heavily monitored during group work and allow for students to continue to be engaged. They almost always make good choices about where they sit, are more engaged, and get more work completed than when they are just sitting at their desk.
