Sensory Overload

The students in my school are LOVING all the new sensory resources they have received thanks to your generous donation! We have put together a "sensory room," where students who need to go de-escalate throughout the day have the opportunity to be in a calming place filled with the sensory activities.

The students were so excited to see and use all these new items. We were able to make centers around the room for the students to enjoy. The gel tiles, the calming cuddle balls, and liquid letters are big hits!! So many of my students love the alphabet so they were really psyched to have this added to their sensory areas. We hope to add another sensory room next year to help support even more students! The wiggle feet have been distributed to classrooms for use while students are sitting at their desks.Thank you so much for your help in making the lives of my students better!”
