  • Computer Access

    Funded May 4, 2022

Your generous generosity has made such an impact in my classroom. My students are now able to work independently on programs such as Boom Cards and ABC Mouse. The flexibility to use touch screen instead of a mouse and keypad have been such a great asset. So my students that are not able to use mouse and keypads are able to access their curriculum by using a touch screen.

My student also enjoy the fact that I can connect a projector and project their favorite music videos. Songs such as Super Simple Songs which help them learn simple skills such as touching head, shoulders, knees and toes. They can also participate as a group when their favorite video is being projected on the whiteboard.

Thank you so much if wasn't for your generous generosity my students wouldn't be able to work independently or enjoy their favorite video on a white board.”

  • Unique Counters

    Funded Nov 10, 2021

Thank you so much for your tremendous generosity. Oh WOW! This is so exciting my students had a blast helping me open the boxes. My students absolutely enjoy their materials. The chair was especially a big hit. My students now have the option of sitting in a different chair other than your normal chair. The shaker was also a big hit, it is being used as a positive reinforcer. The counters are helping my students learn how to count. My students love the fact they have a choice of different items to count. Sometimes we also use the items to identify shapes and sort them out by attributes. Without you our counting cubes every day are over. Now we have different counting materials from dinosaurs to figures to choose from. We can also sort objects such as by color.

Thank you again for your generosity. We appreciate everything you have done for us.”

  • Creativity is the Only Possibility

    Funded May 14, 2020

Your generous donations have given my students the opportunity to create great works of art from the comfort of their home. During these difficult and trying times my students need something to look forward to. Your generosity has helped my students learn how to cut and paste independently. My students are so grateful for your donations. They got really excited when I delivered all of the materials. My students really enjoyed the tempera paint and Play Doh.

Thank you so much without you this could not have been possible.”

  • Learning Through Building Letters and Numbers

    Funded Dec 21, 2018

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for all the wonderful donations.

You should have seen the excitement when the box arrived they were all engaged and interested in seeing what was in the box. As I began taking the boxes out I could see the students eyes just open wide. A few of my verbal students would try and grab a box and say, "mine". This was the most amazing thing to see.

The children have enjoyed using and exploring all the new materials. The biggest hit so far was the Alpha-Bots and Number-Bots. The students are actually playing beside each other and sharing the Alpha-Bots and Number-Bots. This is a great skill they are learning being that they have autism and don't like sharing their things. The next best donation was the locks and keys with the alphabet and numbers the students love locking them together and creating a chain while trying to look for the key.

The Kinetic sand has been my biggest hit because it helps with my students sensory needs but it is so clean to use. I coupled the sand with sand toys and the children love building mini sand castles and creating words with the letter sand toys. They also enjoyed making all the thank you cards with their new stamp pads. All of the colors were so exciting to them.

The counting monkeys are so cute the students love counting them and making the monkeys hold hands. The magnetic math learning rods have also been a hit they love sorting by colors, shapes and or sizes. The rods are so colorful and so easy to use that the children feel like they are playing and not just learning.

Thank you again for you generous donation. My students and my future students will definitely benefit from such a wonderful gift. Thank you so much.”

  • Building Structured Classroom Workstations for Autism Class

    Funded Aug 24, 2014

Our new desks have been a big hit since the moment they arrived. On the day they arrived I took them out to build them as soon as I built one a student went and got a chair and sat there in middle of the room where it was being built. The moment was priceless. Another student went and got her name tag and placed it on one of the desks. We thank you so much. Instruction has been much easier with the desks. The adults can now help a student without being to close or stretching out on top of the tables. The students feel more independent and are participating in group lessons more often. My students and I thank you so much for your donations. Without thoughtful people like yourselves my students would go without.”

  • Five Senses: Touch, Taste, Smell, Hear, and Feel

    Funded Dec 6, 2013

Thank you so much for your generous donation of sensory materials for the classroom.

As you know, our students in our schools go without the proper materials in the classroom due to low or no school budgets to purchase the necessary equipment or material that is needed. Meanwhile our students are the ones that are impacted the most.

With the generous support of people like you, we will be able to help many of our students obtain the necessary material and equipment that is needed in order to have a brighter future.

I can definitely say that the new sensory materials have made a huge impact in the learning environment of my students. My students especially like the pizza. The pizza is a big round mat that came with two weighted pillows that look like cheese and four pillows that look like pepperoni which I have filled with sensory materials such as rice, crinkle paper, beans, and sand. My students enjoy laying on the ground and feeling the pressure or hearing the noise of the pillows. They are also enjoying the new textures and are learning new vocabulary words such as silky, smooth, rough, mesh, bumpy, soft, and rigid. I can also say that my students are now satisfying their oral sensory needs with appropriate materials and are not in danger of swallowing or eating non-edible items. They are also learning how to match an object with a outlined picture. Thank you.

Thank you for helping to make a difference in the education and learning of my students.

Thank you again, and we look forward to your continued support.”

  • Learning Thru Technology

    Funded Nov 19, 2013

Thank you so much for your generous donation of a new computer and tablet.

I can definitely say that the new computer and tablet have made a huge impact in the learning environment of my students. For example, one of my students who is non-verbal was always roaming aimlessly in that classroom for days on end and with the new tablet he now sits for hours listening to a program online reading him stories. It is just amazing how he is so motivated to learn. The new computer is so fast that it has eliminated the frustration that my students had with the old computer. We are now spending our time learning and not waiting for the computer to load. The touch screen was a big bonus my students that are not able to maneuver a mouse are now active participants in their curriculum because they are able to use the touch screen and not have to use a mouse. Thank you.

Thank you for helping to make a difference in the education and learning of my students.

Thank you again, and we look forward to your continued support.”

  • Learning Our ABC's

    Funded Apr 18, 2012

My students and I would like to thank you for your generous donation. Within the last few weeks since we have received our alphabet materials we have been so busy learning. I wish you could see my student's growth I am so excited to see their potential being developed. My students are so excited and often request to use the materials of their liking. I have two students, not only do they have autism but they also have intellectual disabilities too, and they both are now able to identify three to four letters of the alphabet independently. I am so grateful you have made not only me but my parents hopeful of my students' progress. As you can see one of my students also learned how to write the letter "J" for his name using the letter formation sand tray. He loves it so much he follows me when I put it away. I also learned that my other student was able to put the letters in alphabetical order using the alphabet pegboards. One of my students is also creating words using the wooden letters and magnet letters; he enjoys it when I write the word on white board and he finds the letters and places them in the correct order. All of my students are building their finger strength in order write by using the lace link letters. All of my students enjoy learning letter formation using the lower case and upper case letter formations. My student love the vivid colorful pictures in the alphabet suitcase they are beginning to learn how to identify the pictures.

I am so amazed at the progress my students have made within these last few weeks of receiving the materials you and your company has donated. Thank you for giving us the gift of learning the alphabetic principal. Thank you so much for making a difference in a child with autism life. ”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Ochoa
