Hydration Station for Young Athletes
Funded May 9, 2025Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your generous support in helping us bring a water dispenser and reusable water bottles to our school's Running Club!
We've already put these resources to great use! Every week, our 4th and 5th grade runners meet to train, set goals, and build healthy habits—and staying hydrated has become a HUGE part of our routine thanks to your contribution. Students proudly bring their reusable bottles to practice and fill them up before and after their runs. It's become part of our health education, too—they're learning how proper hydration impacts energy, endurance, and recovery.
When the students first saw the water dispenser and their new bottles, their faces lit up with excitement. It was a joyful and motivating moment for all of us.
Looking ahead, we're currently working on tracking personal running goals, mile times, and having conversations about how water, nutrition, and rest help them grow as young athletes. We're also planning a celebration where students will reflect on their growth this season and set intentions for next year.

Funded Dec 2, 2024I am so very thankful for these donations. You have no idea how huge this has been for us. Like, you don't understand I have had a student for almost two years and have never seen him jump, UNTIL NOW! What a blessing having these resources has been. It's not only supplemental for physical education, but our Adapted PE teacher has used these resources too! It's even great for sensory breaks. Also, the bounce chair has been LIFE CHANGING already! My student stays engaged while working. He's bouncing away and completing tasks at his desks. He no longer hops around the classroom as much. Man, I am and will forever be grateful for the transformation that these resources have provided. Thank you so much, I wish I could thank you a million times over. In today's world, access to technology is crucial for students to reach their full potential. As a teacher, I am constantly amazed by how much my students are able to accomplish when given the proper resources. Help My Lessons POP!
Funded May 28, 2020We are SO absolutely thankful for the generous donation you gave us the opportunity to have. During these challenging times of Distance and Virtual Learning, it had been rather difficult to maintain the engagement of students, until my materials arrived. Technology is the basis of our instruction. With your donation, I have been able to establish some amazing educational videos for my students to watch, engage with, and really enjoy. I have learned so much using the green screen. It has been THE number one resource that has made Virtual Instruction that much more interesting for my students. Just imagine.... they get to see their teacher under the sea, in AFRICA, at the pumpkin patch, even themselves among snowmen in the snow, in distinct virtual settings, and all while I am at home! My students just love it and always look forward for more. Thank you for ALWAYS making a difference in my instruction and believing in my dreams.”

Funded May 3, 2019Thank you so much for helping fund this project. It isn't everyday that things are donated to our school, but we are so humbled to have received this amazing donation from you. My students were so happy to have received the sewing machines. In the little time that we have had them, students interest and creativity has begun to rise and they still have have plans to create many more things with them. We have so far been able to sew a skirt, pillow, and pajama shorts and we can't wait to do more!!

Funded Jul 6, 2016With sincere gratitude and heart of appreciation, our students are extremely grateful for these resources we have obtained. Our math lessons have been supplemented with materials that better enables us to comprehend given tasks. These fun and educational opportunities have been the highlight of our days.
Students were in awe when the materials were received! They were so excited to open up the donations and eager to use it all! Students really enjoy measuring using our big measuring tape and using our Math Learning Center during MATH GAME DAY on Fridays. The CASH REGISTER is a BIG HIT as students learn all about coins. Every student has the opportunity to learn to share, take turns, and grasp mathematical concepts in a fun and interactive manner.
Math days are now so much fun!! Thank you from all of us to you... you made this happen, thank you whole heartedly from our kiddos!!! We look forward to expanding our math knowledge all year long.... THANK YOU DONORS CHOOSE DONORS!”

Funded Dec 18, 2015Thank you so much for your kind contribution to our classroom. My aids, students and I are so excited to use all these wonderful materials in our classroom. Having the ability to supplement our activities that are in place has been very fun. Students are even more engaged and excited to try out all resources. When they first saw these materials, they shouted in excitement! There were smiles from ear to ear and they were pointing at supplies and each other and asking each other for help to open up the packages.
The students have a wonderful time learning about the letter of the week with the poems, tracing, and picture cards. They expand their vocabulary with the new picture books as well. Also, they enjoy tracing numbers and using the magnetic money too.
These materials are truly what they needed. Thank you for making their learning that much enjoyable! We sign and say THANK YOU!”

IPads for Special Need Students
Funded Nov 26, 2014The look on my student's eyes when I showed them the brown box and told them I had a surprise for them will forever be in my memory. The curiosity that intrigued them caused much excitement and eagerness to open up the box. One by one our little anxious fingers took turns opening the box by cutting and ripping off the tape, unfolding the cardboard, removing the bubble wrap and extra paper. All in awe as the ipad boxes were reveled, my students jumped with excitement, hugged one another, some yelled, "Yay!" others wrinkled face looked intently to figure out what all the excitement was about, and still others, clapped their hands and bounced up and down! This was the start of a journey, you helped create!!!!
It took a lot of dedication, trial and error, many opportunities to practice, and much patience to have my students understand the usage of these ipads. Some were natural navigators while others needed and still require guidance. These ipads are utilized for students to communicate with adults and classmates alike. With the vast opportunity for students to use apps that give them a voice, students seek the usage of these ipads on a daily basis. Using the ipads as communication boards has been a pleasant and long time dream come true. Students can now communicate that they want a drink of water, need the toilet, and even click on images that tell me where they are hurt, feel pain, or when they feel sick.
The ipads have additionally been used in centers as supplemental activities for language development, mathematical educational opportunities, and interactive reading. Having technology at hand has even helped my ability to expand on certain concepts in an instant. For example, it's one thing to say something and expect them to know what I am referring to. But now, having an ipad, with the ability to have Internet access and the chance to show them pictures and videos, enhances academic content to the max! I've even had the opportunity to incorporate video self modeling, where I record desired behaviors when they are appropriately working, and show them at a later date to remind them of those behaviors. This has changed the dynamics of the classroom as well when they are able to self reflect and monitor their own behaviors accordingly.
Students in my class, will like to take this opportunity to thank you from the bottom of our hearts. It's been such a positive experience for students, aid, and I alike. Chances of success and the opportunity to change their quality of life has been boosted to the max with your kindness and thoughtfulness.
