I possess a deep commitment and passion for working with children and families in under-resourced schools by providing students equitable educational opportunities within my classroom. I thrive for daily interactions with my students, and continue to face the day to day challenges that present itself in undeserved communities. As a teacher educating east Baltimore City children, I tackle social issues such as homelessness, poverty, oppression, and reteaching basic life skills that are needed to mold my students into productive citizens into today's society.
