I am the Librarian at Big Lagoon School, which is a small elementary rural school serving tk-8th grades. We have 23 students that are curious, energetic and love story time and reading. Our school has two classrooms K through 3rd and 4th through 8th. The integrated age groups and small class size make for an individualized learning atmosphere. The library has quite a lot of old and outdated books and I have been busy weeding through them and adding newer books to our collection. Nature is our playground. Within a 5 minute walk, students can be deep in a virgin spruce forest or on the sandy shores of a freshwater lagoon or ocean. This is a special school and the students are special to me. Thank You for any help!
