  • Happy Hands

    Funded Dec 7, 2022

Thank you so much for donating to my classroom. My students were so excited to get the new items to use during rotations. The students are able to choose which items they would like to use while we are in centers. They are able to help build their gross motor skills while also using their imagination while building structures.

We use the Kerplunk game as a classroom incentive. When the students are working together, they receive a compliment from another staff member, or they make positive choices as a class they get to pull a stick. When all of the sticks are pulled and the marbles fall they are able to get the incentive they chose as a class (donuts, Popsicles, or cookies).”

  • Spark Your Imagination

    Funded Jan 26, 2022

My students were so excited to receive all of the new materials to use during dramatic play. They loved exploring all the new cooking and kitchen items that they can use. These items are helping spark the imagination of the students inside the classroom and is helping set them up for success outside the classroom as well.

They also loved having more options during center time with different activities that were also provided.

I would like to keep adding to the activities that students can choose from during center in the future to keep sparking their imagination.

I really appreciate your donation, thank you so much!”

    With gratitude,

  • Keeping Safe While Learning

    Funded Mar 12, 2021

Thank you so much for your kind donations. My students were so excited to use the new manipulatives to explore their mathematical learning process. They were able to use the dice as a roll and add activity, they enjoyed finding all of the different ways to add two numbers together. The other math manipulatives were used for individual exploration and the students were able to solve problems individually. The masks and cups helped with following our health protocols due to COVID. The donations were a huge help in providing students with their own individual learning materials.”

  • Be Flexible... Pick a Seat!

    Funded Mar 27, 2018

Thank you so much for donating to my donors choose project. Your donation will greatly impact my students and their learning. With the shift towards flexible seating you have contributed to my classroom environment and I am able to start the process of changing my classroom layout. Students will now have another choice as to where they would like to sit and where they feel they are able to learn best. With these cushions I can provide a comfortable seating area for students to sit and learn. Giving students the power to choose where they sit has become a big contribution to their learning. My students are very excited to try them out! Thank you again so much for funding our project and for contributing to my classroom and student learning.”

  • I Like to Move It, Move it!

    Funded May 17, 2016

    Dear Donors,

I want to thank you again for funding my classroom project. I am excited to show my students the power of alternate seating in the classroom. The first time the students saw the balance boards, bouncy bands, and wobble chairs they were so excited to test them out. Before I gave them the chance to try them out we had to go over some specific rules about how to use them properly and how to earn the chance to use them. They couldn't wait to use them!

In my classroom I have many students who cannot sit still and have to constantly be moving all day long. This alternate seating allows my students to concentrate while they are working and still be able to get out their wiggles. The alternate seating in my classroom has minimized behaviors and other types of distractions. The students who had the hardest time behaving in class have changed their behavior because they want to opportunity to use the alternate seating that has been provided. My next step is to research new types of alternate seating and see what works best for my students who need to constantly be moving!

My students love the alternate seating and I want to thank you again for contributing to my students and their learning. I am excited to have found something that contributes to the way students learn and the way they behave in the classroom.”
