Meet us at the "Learning Station"
Funded Dec 21, 2012Thank you for affording my students the opportunity to enhance their learning. They have enjoyed having various games that are aligned with our instruction. Students' grades have improved. This proves that students learn better when presented with different avenues for learning.
I am forever grateful for your kindness. Because of your generosity, students from this year and years to come will be able to enjoy these learning games.
You have provided hope to several students. They may not understand things when they are spoken to them but, they have definitely shown that having a tactile way of learning is successful.”

Hands-On Learning
Funded Aug 10, 2012Thank you for your generous donation to help our class. We are so excited that our "library of manipulatives" has expanded. Because of you, students are now able to practice important sight words in a fun and new way. This has increased reading test scores and I am forever thankful to you.
We also have enough math manipulatives for each student now. Every student will have an equal opportunity to experience hands on math topics. This will also help to increase test scores.
Without your support and generosity, we would not have been able to add these items to our classroom. I am very thankful for your donation.”

Bring the Gift of Reading Alive!
Funded Apr 4, 2012Wow! I am so appreciative for you giving the gift of reading to my students. When our books arrived, I explained that we had a special surprise in the box and that lots of wonderful people helped to give this surprise. As I opened the box, my students began to jump up and down with excitement. I did not even have the chance to write my name in the books because they ran over and started grabbing them! It was such a joy to be able to see the smiles on their faces. They are eagerly reading and taking tests on these wonderful books! Again, I can never say thank you enough. It means so much to me when I am able to see my students smile about reading.
Thank you!”

Listening Center-Imagination Station!
Funded Aug 3, 2011Thank you from the bottom of my heart for supporting my project. It truly means a lot to me that you took the time out to read and give to my project. As a first year teacher, it is my goal to incorporate different reading strategies to help students gain a love for reading. This listening station will provide students with the opportunities to experience a book in another manner. Research shows that students who may struggle to read gain confidence when they are able to hear and see words simultaneously. Again, thank you so much. You donation will not only impact this class but several classes to come.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Thomas
