Safe, Soft, and Sensory
Funded Oct 2, 2019Our students are loving their new resources! They were so excited when they saw their new resources. We have been teaching our students to request their wants. They are always requesting the chair ball to bounce on as one of their reinforcers. The large pillow and the beanbag have allowed our students to have a safe place to go when they need a break, or if they are having a difficult time expressing their emotions. Having a soft, safe, and sensory calming area is necessary to address the emotional, and sensory needs of our students. Thank you once again for all of your support.”

Sensational Sensory Students!
Funded Sep 23, 2019My students are loving all of the activity centers! They are so engaged in their learning it is incredible to watch. They are categorizing items, identifying letters of the alphabet, seeing what objects belong together, working on positional vocabulary, and practicing letter formation. I have added the water marbles to their sensory bin and I can't wait to make snow with the class in the next couple of months. The children will enjoy hours of fun and learning with all the materials that they have received through this project and through your generous donations!!”

Funded Jun 30, 2019Thank you for your generous donations. My students are enjoying manipulating letter and numbers while using the table top easel. They are exploring many different topics while being engaged and motivated with the sensory bin. My class is grateful for the experiences that I have been able to provide them through the materials purchased from your generous donations. My students tend to learn best through sensory play and explorations. We will continue to use these materials throughout the school year!!”

Funded Aug 30, 2018My students are using our new resources on a daily basis. I use the chart stands to hang chart paper, visuals, packet charts and to have math and literacy vocabulary readily available for my students.
My students love the mobility of the chart stands. I can bring the charts to the students or they can walk up to the charts as a resource or when participating in classroom discussions of activities.
My students have been learning all about their natural environment and I have been using the pocket chart to display visuals or items the students encounter on a daily basis.”

My students that do not read love having stories being read to them. My students love reading together or listening to a book with their reading partners. I am able to track my students reading goals and reading progress!! Thanks again for allowing my students to become reading rockstars!”

Teach to the Way They Learn
Funded Nov 25, 2017My students were so excited to receive their iPads! The cases are fantastic and ensure that our classroom iPads will be protected. Presently, the students are using the iPads to reinforce reading and math skills. I am excited to be attending two professional developments in the near future. They are entitled "iPad storytelling and integrating iPads." I look forward to learning about, and implementing new ways to incorporate the iPads into student learning and assessment. Thank you for all the support for my classroom.”
