Making Math Fun!
Funded Feb 6, 2017WOW! My students and I thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your amazing generosity! The Math tools are JUST what we needed to extend our thinking! The giant rekenrek and paddle boards are an AMAZING resource for us to grow our knowledge of tens and expand small group instruction. We play fun math games with the magnetic ten frames at least two days a week. It's become our favorite math warm up! The BEST part are the new colorful counting chips that we use EVERYDAY to help our counting skills and accuracy! It's people like you that help these students get the best education they can get. Thank you again for contributing to our classroom, we truly appreciate you!”

Scholastic News magazines
Funded Dec 30, 2016My students and I thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your amazing generosity! The Scholastic Magazines are an AMAZING resource for us to grow our knowledge in the nonfiction genre. We read one every Friday AND even get to watch a short movie clip about the topic of the magazine. So far, we have learned some really interesting things about Polar Bears and different types of Animal Homes! The best part is, that students now get to take their own copy of the magazine home with them! It's people like you that help these students get the best education they can get. Thank you again for contributing to our classroom.”

Bean Bag FUN!
Funded Nov 29, 2016Incredible thanks for helping our classroom build our PE equipment! These colorful bean bags and cones will offer so many games while also achieving physical activity minutes! My students are THRILLED that they get their own bean bag during PE and don't have to switch off or work in groups. Bean bags will improve students gross motor skills, balance, as well as hand - eye coordination during tossing games!
Our goal is to get outside and enjoy the fresh air and sunshine at least 3 times a week for 30 minute periods to engage in light to moderate physical activity. To implement a healthy lifestyle in these students lives is so incredibly important. I thank you, once again, for your generosity!”

Technology at their fingertips!
Funded Jun 24, 2015First of all, a VERY large thank you for donating to a classroom in need. Your donation not only helps me, but it has had a great impact in teaching my students technology skills.
This computer is such a valuable tool for the students to have access to and I am so incredibly grateful that I am able to offer them opportunities to use technology. State testing, these days, is done via iPad. I feel it is imperative that students start learning how to navigate the a computer at an early age to ensure they are well prepared. With your help, this can now be achieved!
In closing, your generosity is extremely appreciated and I am touched that you were able to help my students in a tremendous way!”

Book Bags!
Funded May 18, 2015First of all, a VERY large thank you for donating to a classroom in need. Your donation not only helps me, but it has had a great impact in teaching my students organization skills.
These 'over the chair' book bags have been a FANTASTIC addition as they provide extra storage for students' books, math materials and tools and even a small side pocket for a water bottle or extra pencils! Books aren't getting damaged by being smashed in the back of a desk and materials aren't going missing, because these awesome book baggies provide each student to have their very own storage!
In closing, your generosity is extremely appreciated and I am touched that you were able to help my students in a tremendous way!”

Classroom Library Expansion!
Funded Feb 19, 2015What a great addition to our library! From Rosa Parks to our favorite chapter books, this project has had a huge impact on the variety of books in our library! The look on their face when they saw a new set of books in our library was absolutely priceless!! Our sincerest thank you for your kind generosity and for caring about making a positive impact on students in the classroom.
The students are so eager to read fiction and non-fiction books, reading has become their passion - they can't put them down. Students truly enjoy reading these books in small groups or individually. We are reading 'Fish Face' as a whole class, and it is so entertaining!
My students love expanding their knowledge and these books have great storylines! One last thank you for making a wonderful contribution to a classroom in need.”
