  • Resources Rock!

    Funded Jul 12, 2021

Incredible! I am humbled and grateful for your generosity with this project! My students and I are so thankful to have people like you to help further their education with wonderful resources. These items will help us with some new small group activities, and get some fresh resources in their hands!

We are thrilled to get fresh supplies for our classroom including notebooks, glue sticks, a class set of crayons, and a long stapler for stapling our stories! You honestly have no clue what these resources mean to our classroom!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Zuchero

  • 1, 2, 3...Count With Me!

    Funded Sep 14, 2021

Thank you so MUCH for the amazing donation to this project! We are well on our way to practicing counting to 120, which is a HUGE first grade goal for us to achieve!! We count these collections every Monday and Friday to help improve our counting and cardinality skills. Counting Collections provides students with different levels of understanding, meaningful opportunities to count large quantities of objects, and develop collaborative work skills.

Once again, our classroom can thrive with materials because of kind donors like you!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Zuchero

  • Raising Readers!

    Funded Aug 18, 2021

Thank you very kindly for your donation to these amazing books! You helped grow our library immensely with these read alouds! Some books we received are some of our new favorites! The Hungry Caterpillar, Red Rubber Boot Day, We Don't Eat our Classmates and SO many more!

We read multiple books a day, so a heavy library is MUCH needed! We continue to grow our reading skills by reading a variety of themed texts that include friendship, social emotional learning, inclusion, diversity, and so much more.

We thank you once again for donating to this project and helping us start off the year with this fantastic book collection!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Zuchero

  • Scholastic Scholars!

    Funded May 4, 2021

Thank you so very much for your kind donations to our Scholastic magazine readers. My class absolutely LOVES these magazines and it's such a fun way to wrap up our week with some non-fiction information and videos. This month we read about Friendship, Apples, and School Feelings.

We also got the ScienceSpin subscription and learned all about a Bug Scientist. The students were SO thrilled to see some fun bugs and learn about the job of a scientist.

Some of the other fun things our subscription comes with are videos, skill-building games, hands-on activities and printable sheets. Once again, we are so grateful to have these magazines and can't wait to see how much we learn about this year!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Zuchero

  • Help A Teacher Out!

    Funded Feb 3, 2021

Thank you SO very much for your kind donation towards the Teachers Pay Teachers gift cards. I am constantly searching for virtual activities, and projects to keep student engagement high. My first place to look is always TPT. This amount will most definitely help us continue our learning! Children are always intrigued with the graphics and awesome activities that I'm able to purchase on TPT.

I appreciate how kind you are, especially during these trying times. Your generosity does not go unnoticed!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Zuchero

  • Can You Hear Me?

    Funded Sep 16, 2020

Our students are INSANELY grateful to experience kind donors like you!

This specific time has brought on so much uncertainty and the smallest piece of kindness goes a long way.

The students are loving the new headphones! They help reduce the noise in their environments especially for those that have siblings in different grades! Learning to navigate technology is the silver lining for these students and I do know that we have a strong generation ahead. Thank you again for donating headphones to our classroom. I know are they extremely grateful for these supplies!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Zuchero

Our Kindergarten class is so very thankful for your generous donation for these Scholastic magazines! We read one every Friday and we love learning about non-fiction topics!

The magazines include informational videos, fun facts and games for students to enjoy while learning! Magazines include current events, math, science, language arts and so much more. While learning remains virtual, this digital resource has provided our class with tons of extra learning to support crucial learning skills and enhance language art skills! Thank you again for donating to our class!”

  • Materials We Need To Succeed!

    Funded May 17, 2017

Our class is so lucky and thankful for the generous donors like you. It's always such a joy to see little faces light up when another box of goodies is delivered to our classroom! New items add the spark and interest these students need to succeed in education. It's wonderful that people like you can continue to donate and spread the cheer among so many classrooms in our area. Once again I am so thankful for the wonderful people like you that care about children's education! Our students deserve every resource that helps enhance their learning!”

  • Super Student Supplies!

    Funded May 19, 2017

Our classroom is EXTREMELY thankful for the generous donations to this project. While it may not seem like much, our classroom runs on the necessities like pens, paper, erasers, expo markers and all the wonderful items you help us stock out shelves with! Without these items I'd, once again, be spending my hard earned dollars to help keep these simple items readily available for student use. Our stockroom gets filled up less and less each year, so once again I am so thankful for the wonderful people like you that care about children's education.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Zuchero

  • Tidying Up!

    Funded Aug 2, 2017

Thank you so very much for the generous donations to help us tidy up! The magnetic easel provides the students with so many learning opportunities. We use it for shared reading, word study, extra magnetic space and my favorite, storage for poems and other goodies! The magnetic book shelves are AMAZING for extra storage and provides a wonderful way to display books for a specific unit of the week. We love the easy access it provides for students that want to refer back to the story. We appreciate your wonderful donations to our classroom and are so excited to use these items throughout the year!!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Zuchero

My students attend a high-poverty school with very little resources. 100% of the students are offered a free breakfast and lunch program. A large number of my students attend a before-school program AND an after-school program, leaving them at school for close to a total of 8-10 hours per day. There is very little parent involvement in my classroom, as most parents are busy with either work or attending school themselves. With all of this data, it is so surprising that my students are still passionate about learning, regardless of their lack of resources. It is inspiring to be their educator and pushes me to gather more and more resources for them to thrive and further their love of learning.
