  • 5th Grade Math Magicians Need Pencils!

    Funded Mar 8, 2011

On behalf of myself and my students, I would like to thank you very much for the generous donation of the pencils, sharpener, and dry erase materials. These items have been such a great help with our math studies. As we get towards the end of the school year, we seem to run out of the materials that are needed for success. Your donation has made sure that this does not happen this year and that my students remain successful until the very end of the year.

Once again thank you very much for you support!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Zibell

  • Ready, Set, Learn

    Funded Sep 14, 2010

Thank you all so very much for the generous donations you made to my students. Your donations made it possible for my students to begin the school year with all the school supplies they needed. My students were able to have and organize their notebooks and folders, so they are prepared to work. Each of them was able to receive pencils, pens, erasers and rulers. These are the tools that we all take for granted, but many of my students, don't have the opportunity to have them to start the year. You all made this possible and I thank you very much!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Zibell

  • Student Planners Lead To Successful Students!

    Funded Sep 2, 2010

Thank you all so very much for the homework planner books. My students have been able to start their year off successfully and well organized! Organization is such an important part of the fifth grade. The children learn the importance of not only being organized, but how crucial it is to write down their homework each and every night. My students have expressed that they like being able to check off in their planners, each assignment as they complete it. Many parents are also using the planners as a way to keep in contact with me.

These planners have been a great asset!

    Thank you again!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Zibell

My students are so excited to be able to bring the world of the Internet into our classroom!!! So many of my students never have the opportunity to leave their hometown. Thank you very much for your generous donation of Science World Magazine for my students. The magazine is a wonderful teaching tool. It has helped make my science lessons so much more interesting and exciting for the students. The articles about many of today's hot topics going on in our world, encourage my students to get involved in their futures of keeping green our planet. They help the children to know and realize that they are the future of this world and it si up to them to save it.

Thank you again for the wonderful, enriching tool!”

  • Ready, Set, Learn

    Funded Jul 31, 2009

How can I thank you all enough! Your generous donations have provided me the resources and supplies to get my students off to a great beginning of the year! I have so many parents that are not able to afford to purchase all of the supplies that their children need to begin the school year. I have been able to make sure that my students are ready each day with notebooks, folders, pencils, etc. This has made the opening of my 2009 school year a blessing.

Thank you all so very much!!

    With Fondness&Gratitude,

    Mrs,. Z”

  • Keep it Safe

    Funded Oct 12, 2008

Thank you so very much for funding this project for my and students and me. We enjoy being able to use our smartboard everyday and are so fearful that without having something to lock it up daily, it may be stolen. Right now we have it on a student's desk, and that has only proven to be a huge hassle for the students. Funding this for my students will give them the opportunity to use the smartboard safely everyday.

Thank you so much for choosing to take a giant part of my students' education.

We all appreciate it very much”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Zibell

Thank you so very much for funding this grant for me! The help you are giving my students is more than you will ever know. The items from this grant will ensure that my students will be starting their school year off with the supplies they need to be prepared and do the best they can. Thank you for being such a positive part of my students education”

    With gratitude,

Thank you so much for funding "Reaching for the Stars" project for myself and my students. We have so much enjoyed beginning the study of our solar system. My students are very excited about learning about the world beyond ours.

Again, thank you for this wonderful opportunity”

  • What's Happening in Our World?

    Funded Nov 1, 2007

Thank you so very much for funding my project, "What's Happening In Our World?" So many of my students never get an opportunity to learn about what is going on outside of the city they live in. TIME for Kids will give them the opportunity to explore the world around them and to brainstorm some ways to possibly help with some of the world's problems. Again, from myself and my entire 5th grade, thank you very much for helping us to expand our learning.

    Sincerely,

    Nanci ”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Zibell

"I am a fifth grade teacher in a pre k-8th grade school. Most of my students come from very low economic family status. My students all come from lower income families. Many of these children face poverty, violence and obscenities of life on a daily basis, that are well beyond what most of us could imagine. Yet my students do their best to learn. I try my best to give them a good education and an introduction to the American way of life, but with limited resources there are many things that others consider basic parts of education that I cannot provide without assistance. Many of them do not come to school with the correct supplies needed to succeed. Their parents are not able to supply them with simple school supplies.
