• Discovering Science Through Reading, Experimenting, and Transformation!

  Thank you so very much for the very generous donations that helped us acquire our Science grant. The students are enjoying so much being able to do projects in class, instead of just using a textbook. The "make a rocket" project seems to be their favorite so far. They have loved exploring the solar system and space. We will be moving onto weather and simple machines soon and that should really get their minds working. Without your support, none of this would have ever been possible. My students are so overjoyed with the possibilities these experiments will give them!

Thank you for supporting education and making my students live a bit easier! Without your generosity my students would not be able to be as successful as you helped make them. Without the donated headphones my students would not be able to hear certain lesson they have on the computer! The noise from the computer lessons can be very distracting for other students and the headphones help so much!”

Reading is such an important part of our school day in to be able to instill a love for reading in my students is something that is very important to me. I love to watch my students faces as they are reading a book that they enjoy and see them be transported to wherever the book takes them. Becoming a good reader, help them, and so many other aspects of their schooling.

• Healthy Students Make Happy Students

  Thank you so very much for the incredible donations that made it possible to get the healthy snacks and water bottles for my students. They were so excited to get the waterbottles. With all that we have gone through with covid, having their own personal water bottle to use daily is perfect.

  The growth mindset book has so many excellent ideas and activities that I have used with my students. They seem to enjoy them so much!

So many of my students come from families that unfortunately cannot afford to purchase the supplies they need to start off the year. Your donations gave us the notebooks, folders, pencils and other school supplies that give students the chance to be successful right away.

  Being able to just hand my students who did not have what they needed their school supplies, was a great feeling. Seeing the appreciation on their faces made my day!

• Focused Students Make for Better Learners

  Thank you so much for the donations that provided us to get our fidget toys. As a 5th grade teacher, I know how difficult it can be to stay focused on learning throughout the day. Something as simple as a fidget gadget can help so much!

  So many of my students love to be able to have something in their hands while they are working. I have noticed how much better they are doing. They are even seeing the difference in themselves.

• The Puberty Project

  Funded Mar 21, 2022

  I cannot thank you enough for the generous donations that allowed us to get the puberty supplies for my fifth graders. My students come from low-income families. Many times items like deodorant, toothbrushes, etc are not in their main focus budget. My students, who are close to becoming pre-teens are the ones who will suffer.

  I and the physical education teacher at my school will be providing a few health classes to my fifth graders. We will be explaining why it is so important to use each of the items they received in their "Puberty Bags." They were so excited to receive their bags because the items are some that we have spoken about so often as part of good health.

  Again, I cannot thank you enough for caring so much for the welfare of my fifth graders. They were so happy to receive their "Puberty Bags" with deodorant, toothbrushes, and toothpaste in a great private bag!”
