  • Cozy & Productive Classroom (Alternative Seating)

    We just received our bean bag chairs and the students love them already! They are racing to class to get a chance to use them. (Usually getting to class on time is a struggle so this is amazing on its own.) We got the chance to use them today for an independent writing task. They made a great, comfortable addition to our alternative seating for the kids who work best out of their traditional desk chairs. We also talked about how we received them as gifts from "strangers on the internet" and they are all so grateful and genuinely shocked by your generosity, as am I.

  • Back to School - Staying Safe & Achieving Success

    We have finally gone back into the school building so we have been able to use your gifts! They were a hit. The kids loved that each table had their own "kit" (the plastic bins each with their own sanitizing wipes and supplies) and I loved that the kids were safe and healthy! We will be using the colored tape to make social distancing easier and more clear. And the touchless supplies (stapler & pencil sharpener) help us reduce our contact (and they are so much nicer than our old ones)!
