Funded Jan 23, 2022I cannot put into words how grateful I am for your donation. These products will amplify learn, growth, development, confidence, and so much more in our classroom. You are incredibly generous, and I can’t wait to tell my kiddos about the exciting products that are on their way to them!”

Music for Our Growing Minds
Funded Dec 27, 2019Thank you so much for donating to our project to receive musical instruments. We have already used them a few times, and my students absolutely love them! They make read aloud, readers theater, and music time even more enjoyable, memorable, and engaging. We have even been able to share our instruments with two other classes, so the impact goes even further beyond our original 30 students.
My students were thrilled when they opened the box and saw the instruments. A couple months earlier, I had sifted through my pantry and kitchen utensils to find as many makeshift instruments as I could. These worked, but they weren't the real thing. To know they would have their hands on shiny, new, actual triangles, finger cymbals, drums, and so much more was truly such an excitement to the children!
We can't wait to continue learning how to use them properly, and to make sure everyone gets a chance to use each one. The next step is incorporating them into our Utah History Program! Thank you for your generosity! It means so much to all of us!”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Wilson
This classroom project was brought to life by An anonymous classroom supporter and 5 other donors.Different Worlds, Dynamic Characters, New Ideas, Better Readers!
Funded Jan 29, 2019First, I would like to thank you for your generous donation of these brand new books for our classroom. Just as I had hoped, these new texts have introduced my students to things they otherwise would never know. We have learned about dragons and other fantastic animals, explored worlds that once included dinosaurs and cave men, and even turned our realistic fiction texts into our very own reader's theater! We have just begun a book report project, and I wish I had pictures, because the students are showing me just how creative they can be. None of this would be possible without these new texts provided by you!
In addition, these texts have helped my students increase their reading comprehension and fluency. In our classroom, we are constantly discussing books we are reading, why we love them (or why we don't), and what we can learn from these texts. By bringing new, exciting books into our classroom, a new fire has been lit in my students to read more! Because they love these books, they are more inclined to read; and because they are reading books they love and enjoy, their reading comprehension is increasing! It is so thrilling to see students WANTING to read, especially when I know they are learning, too!
Thank you again for your donation, and I can't wait to see where we take these books next!”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Wilson
This classroom project was brought to life by Carol Kupers Whalen Memorial Fund and 4 other donors.Bouncy Bands for Bouncing Kids!
Funded Nov 29, 2018This is just a small token of my gratitude for your generous donation to our classroom. The kickbands you donated have helped my students every day! Now that my students have an easily accessible fidget tool, they are more successful, productive, and focused. This helpful tool will continue to impact their learning throughout the year, because they will find it easier to listen and focus. The kickbands are also teaching my students about responsibility, as each of them has a band and is required to take care of it.
As soon as one of my students put his kickband on his desk he came to me and said "Mrs. Wilson, I'm so excited! I really think this is going to help me focus better! It's exactly what I needed." Thank you for making it possible to help him, and many others in our class, become better learners!”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Wilson
