These materials will make a huge impact on my students' learning. It is vital that my classroom is inviting, engaging, and has adequate resources for students! My classroom currently has technology needs, a lack of cleaning supplies, and Social Studies literature needs! An additional classroom Chromebook is needed to ensure that each of my exceptional needs students has their own technology device (two students are currently sharing one.) Classroom lights will positively impact the learning climate in my classroom by having to use less of the harsh florescent light. A bluetooth speaker will be used to boost spirits each morning as I welcome students off the buses. A broom and dust pan is needed to clean my classroom each day as there is currently a shortage of custodians. Each of the literature items listed as well as the U.S. document posters directly correlate to my 5th Grade Social Studies standards. There is currently no Social Studies curriculum materials at my school so these will be great resources for students to utilize.
