My third graders have a thirst for knowledge and a genuine interest in learning all that they can. Fifty percent of our students are eligible for free/reduced lunch. Many students do not have access to technology at their homes and our classroom only has 4 netbooks to serve 26 students. I want my students to be able to work in small groups with technology, and as you can imagine, it is not so easy for groups of 6-7 students to work with one netbook! I would love for my students to get the time they need in order to be prepared to take benchmark tests that are administered on computers.
