  • Thew Tech Tools

    Funded Jul 6, 2020

Thank you for helping me purchase a presentation clicker and USB-C adapter. I would like to have a presentation clicker and USB-C adapter for my classroom. Last year, my students all received Chrome books so I have been able to create a lot of engaging presentations that students can interact with. The adapter has allowed me to share my screen through the projector. Being able to present my screen and walk around while presenting a PowerPoint has increased student engagement and helped me to gage students' understanding better. In addition, thank you for the echo dot. My students have enjoy listening to music while they work. Studies have shown that classical music can help to increase students' focus. Thank you for making an impact in the education of our future generation!”

  • Reading Rules!

    Funded Mar 3, 2020

Thank you for helping me purchase books for reading groups. My students have enjoyed reading these books and they look forward to it each day. I have created novel studies for "Charlotte's Web", "Stuart Little", "The Chocolate Touch", and "Inside Out & Back Again" so that students can dig deeper into the elements and features of text. Having these books has allowed me to differentiate in my small groups. These book sets will be used for years to come. Through these novel studies, students will increase their fluency and gain 4th grade reading skills. Thank you for your generosity!”

  • Flexible Seating for 4th Grade

    Funded Nov 16, 2019

Thank you Fiesta Bowl Wishes for Teachers for granting my wish. I was able to completely change my classroom into flexible seating. Wobble stools, standing tables, balance balls, couches, circular floor tables, stools, cushion chairs, rectangular floor tables, wobble cushions, and floor seats were added to my classroom. After adding the flexible seating to my classroom, I have noticed an increase in focus and motivation. My students were absolutely thrilled to get their alternative seats. My class and I would would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for funding our project. We couldn't have done it without you!”

  • Fourth Grade Flocabulary

    Funded Aug 13, 2019

Flocabulary has kept my students engaged and helped them to learn and remember academic content. The songs align to state standards and help to reinforce our school's curriculum. I use flocabulary in math, reading, science, and social studies. The songs helped to build my students' vocabulary and teach them key academic concepts.

The students absolutely love it! The catchy songs get stuck in their heads and often times, I see them singing it to themselves when completing assignments or taking tests. Thank you so much!”

  • Seat Sacks for Success

    Funded Jul 30, 2019

As a result of your generosity, my students are able to store their notebooks, folders, binders, and other individual school supplies. Students are now more organized which is a key component in academic success and our AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) goal.

Students were so excited to receive their seat sacks! They use them every day to store their folders, notebooks, papers, and writing materials. You helped fund a long-lasting classroom necessity!

If you are interested in continuing to support and invest in my students, I have a new project called "Fourth Grade Flocabulary". This project was created so I can give my students flocabulary access to help them learn and remember key academic concepts.

  • Books for Biographies

    Funded Feb 7, 2019

Thank you for donating to my project. The Who Was/Is books have given my students credible information to assist them in writing their own biographies. My students are excited to read them each day and learn more about their influential person in history. Your donation not only helped my student to write their biographies but it also helped give them information they could use when they present at the student showcase. The Who Was/Is books will be used for many years to come. Thank you again for your generosity. We truly appreciate it.”

  • Flocabulary for Fourth Grade

    Funded Oct 5, 2018

Thank you for donating to my "Flocabulary for Fourth Grade" project. Students have enjoyed learning new skills or reviewing previous skills with flocabulary's catchy songs. Our favorite songs include main idea, point of view, place value, and making inferences. Flocabulary songs are aligned to state standards and help to reinforce our school's curriculum. The new songs have helped my students to remember academic content. I often see them singing or humming the songs in order to assist them on their unit tests. My students love music so there is no better way to make learning come alive than to put the academic content to music. The songs are engaging and fun! They help students build vocabulary and learn key academic concepts. Thank you again for investing in the future generation. Your generosity is greatly appreciated.”
