Flexible Learning Spaces
Funded Jul 21, 2024Thank you for your generosity in supporting my fourth graders. They will be so excited to begin the school year in a classroom with many fun options for seating around the classroom.
It is through the kindness of people like YOU that public school teachers can transform their classrooms from a box into a place of comfort and wonder.
Thank you again for supporting my class and me!”

Mrs. Walker
Positive Behavior Incentives
Funded May 9, 2023Thank you for your help in providing my students with a variety of positive behavior incentives!
My students love to work hard and earn their ClassDojo points and trade them in for one of the many options of incentives that we have.
Behavior in my classroom has greatly improved since students found they were able to earn something tangible for their above-and-beyond behaviors. They are kinder to one another, they keep our classroom clean, and they complete their assigned work with minimal disruptions.”

Mrs. Walker

Funded Aug 16, 2023Thank you for your generous contribution to my classroom. The flexible seating options have been a great addition to my classroom.
My students enjoy using the wobble stools while they work to help them stay focused while getting out some of their wiggles. My students with special needs especially benefit from them for their use in providing the bodily stimulation that they need to feel comfortable.
They have also worked well as a reward for students to earn for positive behavior. Students work hard to earn their day with a wobble stool and really appreciate the opportunity to do so.”

Funded Nov 29, 2022Students in my classroom are timid readers. They have struggled with reading for years and, thus, lacked the joy that could be found between the pages of a good book.
By receiving these graphic novels from generous souls such as yourself, my reluctant readers were able to pick up a book and follow an interesting storyline from start to finish with the supporting illustrations and engaging format of a graphic novel.
I teach in the state of Florida where we are experiencing a major shift in the way we can (and cannot) utilize books in our classroom. Unfortunately, our classroom library was closed for a few months while we navigated the hurdles.
However, I am elated to say that our classroom library is now back up and running and the children are once again enjoying the books you so kindly helped to fund for our classroom.
Thank you for supporting the readers of today who will be the leaders of tomorrow!”

Funded Jul 8, 2022Thank you for your generous contribution to our classroom! My students have enjoyed and continue to enjoy the opportunities and options to "sit around the room" using our flexible seating chairs, yoga balls, surf desks, lap desks, and more! When choosing their own seat, they are better able to collaborate with their peers and more engaged in their learning. They also feel more comfortable in their classroom environment instead of being stuck in a hard chair at a desk all day. Flexible seating has been and will continue to be enjoyed by many students to come. Thank you again for your generosity!”

We Need STEM & History Nonfiction Books
Funded Feb 3, 2022Thank you for your gracious donation that provided STEM and History books to my 4th grade classroom! This helped to stock my classroom library with many nonfiction options for my students to explore their varieties of interest. My students enjoyed being able to peruse and freely select from our library when we discussed historic people and events and covered new science topics. They especially loved finding new ways to implement STEM activities in our classroom and generating ideas for our end-of-the-year STEM challenges! Your donation has helped to improve the academic experience for many children for years to come. Thank you again!”

Readers Become Leaders! But First... We Need Books!
Funded Dec 19, 2021Thank for your generous contribution to our classroom! My students are thoroughly enjoying reading the variety of stories that your donation provided to us.
My students were in awe when they saw their brand new, fresh, and well-stocked library in their classroom. They have taken such great care of our books. We have even created the class job of librarian to keep our books neat and orderly in our bookshelves.
We are beyond grateful to have these wonderful titles in our library. As we progress through the remainder of the year, I know students will challenge themselves to read these stories with depth and to share their joy of reading with each other.
Thank you again for all you did to help us reach our goal!”
