Thank you so much for donating to this project. I love all the new books for all the seasons and my kids will too! We've already read the fall and winter ones for our seasons lessons! It's always nice to have new things in the room, especially books!
The Leaf Thief is so cute! We read it during our fall lesson.
We also read Cold Noses and Crisp Air for our winter lesson and paired it with some snow!
The kids like the tactile books also, because they often need a little more sensory feedback.”

Thank you so much for donating to this classroom fridge project! We've already got a good start of pictures this year! We've done our "first day" pictures, added some from our summer vacation and we will only add more!!
The kids are excited to take their pictures! We did an activity about loving ourself and already took a little snapshot of ourselves. This was a neat way to teach the kids to smile for the camera and talk about themselves.
This printer will come in handy all year long and I can not wait to see our class fridge grow into a beautiful masterpiece!”

Thank you so much for donating to this teachers pay teachers project. I absolutely love that we are able to share the wealth of materials.
We were able to read an adapted book about the start of the school year and the rules that come into play. They cut and glue the pieces into the book and even practiced matching.
We were able to utilize some behavior charts and reward systems that came in a PBIS bundle. It varies for each student. Some may get three tokens and some may have to get 5 to earn a reward.”

Thank you so much for donating to this project. This is a great project to get our kids exposed to more things!
We now have a sensory table with different textures and the kids can just walk or roll by for some sensory time!
We also have our letter of the week sensory bin. It has the white fake grass filler and objects that start with that letter so the kids feel and find. They love this!
Having different sensory items is great for exposure to these kids. I honestly can wait to whip out the fall and winter sensory items!”
Thank you so much for donating to our class snack project! We have some friends who have since been moved to another room since this project was made, so they will be receiving these snacks as part of their welcome back gift in their new class. I love that this project allowed me to spread the wealth!
A lot of the snacks I was still able to keep for our snack supply!
This will be great for my kids at the end of the day so they can fill their bellies for their long bus ride home! They'll love the variety!”

Thank you so much for donating to our new classroom! It will be nice having fresh and inviting decorations in our class. We're keeping the same theme, but just updating the room overall!
The new black paper will be awesome for our bulliten boards! We are even going to make a new bulliten board for our literacy station, which will be a nice addition.
All the Velcro will help set up the room and individualized student tasks - like their name and matching activities.
This is such a great project for us! Thanks!”

Thank you so much for donating to our class! This creates so much fun in science. The kids are able to actually see the life cycle of both the butterfly and the lady bug!
Our caterpillars have grown so much already! Some of the kids think they're weird and some love to see them grow! We are excited to transfer the chrysalises to the butterfly garden!
The lady bugs are a new addition to our room, as we've never done them before so this is fun for staff and students.
Thanks for keeping science fun for us!”

Thank you so much for donating to this project! We are on our Earth unit! First, plants and next, animals!
We planted our plants! Kids loved this. Putting their soil and seeds in was cool for them. We will be watering and monitoring the growth. Then we will be able to look at them grow and learn about the plant lifecycle!
The kids got to pick their pot colors and help plant in every aspect!
The plants will also work as Mother's Day gifts!
Thanks for allowing us to have some hands on science for the kids!”

Thank you so much for donating to this project. We had so much fun! The kids really enjoyed picking their pattern. All of them picked something a little different, whether it be pattern or color. This shows how different all of their little personalities are!
We were able to learn more about colors, mixing colors and even make simple choices.
We tie dyed them on Tie Dye day for disability awareness week & we will be able to wear them for "T" tie dye day for our ABC countdown on May 10!
This was a full circle type of project. Thank you!”

Welcome! In our classroom you'd find a variety of students, with varying levels of abilities. This class is a self contained special education classroom serving students with multiple disabilities. We focus a lot on daily acts of living like self-feeding, toileting, and promoting independence within the children. We are learning our names, numbers, letters (and some are even beginning to read). We teach all content areas in this class just like our general education peers, we just provide a lot more support with prompting, visuals, tactile adaptations, etc.
