Since this school year started, I have discovered there are some basic items that my students need to be able to meet basic needs so that they can focus on math instead of the items they are missing. Being able to provide the items in this project to my students would go a long way in supporting their needs and education. I have noticed that some students come in without access to water bottles, so I provide cups for them to get some water from the drinking fountain if they are thirsty. Occasionally a band aid is needed to cover a small cut. After lunch a mask might have been misplaced and the student needs a new one. I also need paper to be able to make copies of the students' assignments, because sometimes there is no computer replacement for pencil and paper practice. With the supplies in this project, I will be able to help meet these basic needs.
