• Help Fill Our Book Shelves!

  Thank you for your generous donations to expand the picture book library in my third grade classroom. I used these books to introduce certain rules the first week of school and to begin particular conversations. I used these books to introduce SEL (social emotional learning) topics in morning meeting. Our new reading series required non fiction read alouds. My classroom library was really lacking in that department so it was great to have so many to choose from. I also used those books for our new science curriculum. These books being added to my classroom was an absolute blessing. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.”

• Technology for Third Grade!

  Thank you for your generous donation to help my classroom get an iPad. This is my first iPad in the classroom and it was an exciting addition for all. Technology is expensive but it is well needed at school.

  My students enjoyed using the iPad in centers, for review purposes, to read books, etc. My students did a great job caring for the iPad kindly.

  I'm looking forward to using the iPad for years to come to help students learn, grow, and share. Thank you again for your loving generosity to help my students and classroom.”

• Third Grade Bookworms

  Funded May 5, 2022

  Thank you again for your generous donation for my chapter book project. My students were so excited when we unboxed the books and they found out the books were for them to read.

  All my guided reading groups were given chapter books on their level and it was exciting for all. Every group raced back to their seats to read after a brief book introduction and expectations were shared.

  I'm looking forward to being able to use these books for years to come. Thank you for giving my students the gift of reading.”

• Healthy & Well in 3rd Grade!

  Thank you for your generous donations towards my classroom. Thanks to you my students have what they need to stay safe.

  Thanks to your my students have several boxes of extra masks. We have put them to good use so far this school year as students drop or lose their masks at lunch/recess. Also masks easily break. Some students come to school and just need a mask. Thanks to you I can meet the needs of every child for safety reasons.

  Thanks to you I am able to provide individual packs of tissues to each of my students. This keeps everyone safe and healthy by having their own pack.

• Win, Snack, & Stay Safe!

  Funded Sep 24, 2021

  Thank you so much for your generous donations to my third grade classroom. With your donations my students have been able to enjoy a full prize box, snacks for full bellies, and extra masks to wear when needed.

  The prizes have been used to award our weekly homework club members. These students complete their homework all week long. The prizes are also used for math and reading bucks that students earn for participation in both math and reading whole group lessons. The prizes have helped promote homework completion and active participation in my classroom.

  We have late lunch this year and eat at almost 1 pm as third graders. It is a long wait for my students. Some students are able to bring a daily snack from home, but the students who are unable to or forget, they can choose a snack from the snack basket so they will have full bellies.

• Click, Hear, Organize... Help Us Get Computer Accessories!

  Thank you so much for your generous attention to my classroom's project. With headphones, mice, and an organization station my students had the chance (prior to closure) to use their chrome books more effectively and quickly.

  Our old headphones seemed to be breaking by the day. Now we have new brand new ones to hear so much better with.

  Prior to the project we only had the mouse pad on each Chromebook. This was frustrating to use for some students because not all our technology is touch screen. With the mice they have become experts at using the mouse better.

  The organization station allows for students to find their assigned items and even better: THEY ARE TANGLED!!!

• Third Grade Technology!

  My students love their new technology. Having two projects completed over the summer allows my classroom to have enough technology for them to work in pairs. They've enjoyed creating new friendships and creations with this new ability.

  My students love that more than 6 of them can work on chrome books at the same time. This allows more students to work on technology while meeting their needs during small group time. This is a great resource since technology is limited at our school. I think they feel blessed to have so much in our classroom.

  The students have had to adjust to the new 7 chrome books not being touch screen, but they are rising to the occasion. This allows them to use problem solving skills. I would like to eventually have a wireless mouse for each chrome book, but that will come in time.
