Students can't learn or work effectively if they are hungry. We have students who come to school every day on an empty stomach. They do get two free meals a day at school, but many go home to little or no food in the kitchen. All of our students should have enough to eat. Providing students with food to take home will help them not only survive but thrive. Even just a small snack would go a long way, but we also want to send home food that could serve as a small meal. Our kids deserve this!
