  • Calculating Success!

    Funded Sep 26, 2024

I want to express my sincere thanks again for your generous donation to our project to provide a color calculator for our classroom. Your support has made an incredible impact, and I am beyond grateful for your contribution!

With this new calculator, my students will be able to explore and visualize mathematical concepts in ways they never could before. For many of my students, especially those who are visual learners, the color-coded functions of the calculator will provide an engaging way to understand complex ideas like graphing, algebraic equations, and functions. The ability to see the results in different colors will help them connect patterns, identify errors more easily, and approach math with greater confidence.

This calculator is not just a tool—it's a game-changer for my students' learning experience. It will help them develop critical problem-solving skills and foster a deeper understanding of mathematics, setting them up for success in both their current coursework and future endeavors.

Thank you again for believing in my students and for making this opportunity possible. Your generosity will have a lasting effect on their education, and I know they will be inspired to continue their mathematical journey with enthusiasm and curiosity.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Richardson

  • Nourishing and Learning!

    Funded Nov 27, 2024

I am writing to express my deepest gratitude for your generous donation to provide snacks for my students. Thanks to your kindness, we've been able to ensure that every child has the nourishment they need to stay focused, energized, and ready to learn.

As you may know, many of our students face challenges outside of the classroom that can affect their ability to succeed in school. For some, the gap between breakfast and lunch is simply too long, leaving them hungry and distracted during critical learning hours. Your donation has helped fill this gap, offering snacks that not only nourish their bodies but also allow them to fully engage in their studies.

Thank you again for your generosity. Your support has provided much more than just a snack; you've provided the fuel that my students need to succeed and the opportunity for them to be their best selves in the classroom. You've made a real difference, and we are incredibly grateful.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Richardson

  • Nourishment to Thrive!

    Funded Aug 12, 2024

I think it is difficult to put into words what impact your generosity to this project had on our students. Students did not go hungry during lunch, students were able to nourish at different times throughout the day when needed, student were able to thrive.

I did not realize how many students do not eat or limit their food at school and a bag of chips or quick granola bar could make all the difference.

Thank you for providing the nourishment our students needed to learn, perform, and even find comfort in school.”

    With gratitude,

  • Reading is Fundamental in Math Too

    Funded Aug 15, 2024

I am writing to share the incredible impact your generous donation has had on our classroom. Thanks to your support, we have been able to establish a Reading Library in our Math Classroom that has opened new doors for learning, curiosity, and engagement for my students.

Before we received your donation, our math classroom focused primarily on equations, formulas, and problem-solving, but students often struggled to see how math could connect to their broader world. With the addition of the reading library, we have successfully combined literacy with mathematics, sparking students' interest in both subjects in a unique and exciting way.

On behalf of my students and myself, thank you for making such a powerful difference. You've helped foster a love of learning that will have a lasting impact on their academic journey.”

  • Calculating Success in Math!

    Funded Aug 14, 2024

It was so exciting to receive our new technology! It's the little things that spark interest and desire on top of the educational benefit. The small tech package that ignited a classroom into math action.

Thank you for helping with this project and providing our class with technology that excites as much as helps. There are a number of technologies that change with the times but our calculators are not one of them! This has allowed us to be able to quickly follow instruction and determine the difference between graphs easily. The color screens are significantly easier to read and work on and is a vast improvement for the students. It also helps save money and frustration on batteries.

Thank you again for providing our class the necessary technology to achieve effective instruction! You are helping the transformation of our class from a subject into an experience!”

We are part of a large district but have the highest ratio of special education and economically disadvantaged students. At this time, our hard-working kids need additional support to pass the End of Course Exam that is necessary to graduate. As their teacher, it is my desire to procure all the items and manipulatives I can to encourage their motivation to learn in a safe and comfortable environment. Anything that might benefit them, is something I am willing to try, although finances might not always allow. I have the best students in the world and want to teach them to the best of my ability so they have the skills necessary to be successful in school and life. Many of the educational philosophies today are to teach with our students' interests in mind, and that is my desire.
