We could not be more grateful for your help with our fresh supplies. My kids were so THRILLED to see the boxes arrive and love opening it and going through it with me! The indoor recess games are great. Although we LOVE technology it's so nice to have board games like jenga and card games like Uno to learn some play skills. They LOVE jenga! We have even used it for math games. We love the Weird School Daze books and are reading the whole series as a class. We are just about to wrap up book #3! The prize box toys are great and students work hard to earn them weekly. We also earned a FLASHLIGHT FRIDAY and everyone got their own flashlights! We are so grateful for your helping in making learning more fun! Thank you!”

We love the clipboards as we often like to do our work anywhere we would like in the classroom. We are also so grateful for all of the new books. They are great for our pathways lessons. The class picker pencils have been great for grouping our class and doing different buddy activities! • Charging for a Great Day

    Funded Nov 11, 2016

We can't thank all of our donors enough for helping us get more tablets for our classroom. We are also so excited to have cases and a charging station. Technology is such an important part of our everyday learning in our classroom. We use it for math centers, reading group, literacy centers and many other fun activities. Some things we use are Kahoot! , QR Code Readers, kiddle.co, and blogging! Yes, BLOGGING! My 2nd graders love to blog ! We love to be able to connect to other places outside of our school. We've been loving using technology to visit live cams all around the world. We especially love the San Diego Zoo! Having the charging station is so important as well. In my classroom I teach my students to be flexible & organized. It is a perfect time to teach children how to be organized. They are responsible for charging and organizing all of our tablets each day. The cases are great too, to help keep them safe. We know 2nd grade hands can sometimes be slippery. We are so grateful for these donations! Thank you to everyone who helped!”

  • Teaching Terrific Kids with Technology

    Funded Aug 25, 2016

Technology is part of my classroom everyday. It helps my students learn in so many different ways. We use it across the curriculum for all areas. Students use our tablets daily for centers, math, and reading programs. These devices are helping us learn through researching with QR codes, Raz Kids reading program, blogging, math review and many other fun activities.

I think the most important part to this new product is that they get to use it independently through a rotation daily as part of their work. They use it during language arts, math and reading time. It is so exciting for them to use technology during the day!

All of my students LOVE the technology. They beg to use it and do a very nice job using it. I also use the technology to differentiate in my classroom so all learners can access learning tools.”

Technology is everywhere and a very important part of everyone's daily life. Technology is the future and my students are the ones that will be leading the future. Technology in the classroom is very important for many different reasons. It helps prepare students for the future. Using technology in the classroom is a great way to differentiate learning and different learning styles. Technology helps prepare students for the real world. Students are more engaged with technology activities. Students are excited to use technology as it's a different way of learning and creating for them. Students become more responsible with technology. Technology allows students to demonstrate independence. It allows students to stay up-to-date with current and trending lessons. You'd be amazed when you walked in my classroom and you are able to watch a 7-year-old create their own Powerpoint or Excel sheet. Students love being able to use different opportunities to create their own work and have the choice to make it more personal. Students will use these tablets on a daily basis to engage, create and explore. We will use these for reading groups, math activities, blogging, virtual educational games, book and movie making, and much, much more.
