• STEM Challenges for First Grade

  Thank you so much for your amazing donations to my classroom. I am so grateful to be given the resources needed to provide weekly engineering challenges for my students. When I first started planning these lessons, I was so excited until I realized just how expensive the supplies were. I began to feel that weekly lessons might not be possible. These donations to my project allow me to provided these weekly lessons without fail. Not only do my students begin to develop critical thinking and problem solving skills, they also begin to develop perseverance as learners. Thank you for your part in this development!

The students love reading the books. These books not only provide diverse characters that my student can connect with but they also reinforce the idea of perseverance in learning. Each story reinforces the idea of the scientific process in learning as well as moving on beyond the first try to the second, third, and fourth try.
