Breakout EDUs are like escape rooms for the classroom. Students solve different critical thinking puzzles and clues to unlock a variety of locks. Inside different boxes are more clues and puzzles, which helps them unlock the next box and so on. The goal is to unlock all of the boxes and "breakout" within 45 minutes. Breakouts encourage critical thinking, teamwork, and out-of-the-box thinking. This type of technology allows me to different breakouts for different topics and levels. And, just in case student have to learn virtually either individually or as a school, they are able to log in from anywhere! We have experienced some moments were a student has to be quarantined due to waiting on test results and he or she logs into our class virtually. This technology helps students keep up with school work while still being involved in the class.
