Working for an arts integrated school has always been my dream. I always visualized teaching through the use of song, dance, and the use of various art mediums. Students learn and retain information when art is incorporated. I’m a first year teacher, at a Title I Arts Integrated charter, where art supplies are purchased out of pocket. At the very least, I’d love to start off with a classroom set of tempera paints, brushes and a drying rack, so we can learn about math and ela through the use of visual arts!
