• Wobble Chairs for Scholars!

  It's been so wonderful having these wobble chairs in my classroom. My students love these fun wobbly chairs to sit on while they work, read, or work on iPads. These extra chairs have provided enough chairs for all my students to sit on during our small group time. When we have Academy Time, students from the other classes come and enjoy sitting on these special chairs too.

• Let’s Play Badminton!

  My students have been having so much fun learning to play badminton. They are getting the hang of this sport and getting better at hitting the shuttlecocks. It helps them with coordination, having to focus themselves and hit the birdie right in the middle.

  I'm able to share this sport with another class so about 50 students are learning to play at this time. Many of my colleagues are very interested too. I'm so happy to be able to share this wonderful sport with my students. My students tell me how fun it is to play this sport every day. Thank you so much for making this possible for my students and many more students to come. We're very grateful for your generosity!”

• Activity Table for Scholars!

  Thank you so much for your generous support for my classroom. This new activity table which is a long rectangular shape, fits perfectly in my classroom. My students and I use the table for variety of activities such as reading individually, working together in small groups, during our Academy Time to do Word Work, working with iPads, doing math, painting and more. This table also gives us the extra space to work alone if a student needs to be separated for needed concentration.

• A Kidney Table for K!

  Our kidney table has been so useful in our classroom. It serves as a breakfast table to start our day where students pick up their food items and utensils. Students also sit there to read books during our Accelerated Reader program every morning. Students also use iPads and Chromebooks on the kidney table. During Academy Time where we switch students within our grade level by their reading levels, we work on learning different Phonics strategies to be better readers and writers. We also use the kidney table during Arts & Crafts time where students get to paint or make different projects in small groups.

• Jellyfish Chairs for K!

  These jellyfish chairs are so fun to have in class. My students love sitting on them. I have my students take turns sitting on these chairs. These give my students the extra height sitting in the back so they can see better. The students gently bounce on these chairs without making noises. These chairs are providing my students more options to be able to wiggle around while listening to the teacher.

• PPT Lessons for Engage NY Math!

  I'm so grateful and happy to have this wonderful resource for my students this year. The power point presentation for each lesson is so much easier for my students to understand the concept while keeping them engaged. This resource is helping me to be a better teacher and makes learning more fun for the kids. This new math program is very different from the other traditional ones, and it's definitely going to build a strong foundational skills that my students need in order to be ready for 3rd grade. • Technology for Tech K!

  It's so great having a touch screen Microsoft Surface Pro in the classroom. I can easily have my students take turns using it, and I can use it like a regular laptop, unlike the iPads with certain limitations on what you can do. My students mainly use it to learn from starfall.com, listening to stories, songs, building words, adding and subtracting. I'm so happy to be able to provide the technology needed for my students to learn. Integrating technology into our learning has been engaging and fun.

• Chromebook Fun for K!

  It's been awesome having 1 more chrome book in my classroom for my students to enjoy learning. I have 5 chrome books total, and I will be getting 1 from the district when I go to the new reading program training during the summer. I started with just 2 laptops, and now there's enough for a small group of students to use as a center and integrate technology into our learning. It wouldn't have been possible without your generous support. Many future students will benefit from these chrome books as well.
