Interactive Smart Board for the Eagles!
Funded Oct 28, 2023It's been awesome having this interactive board for my students during the lessons. My students are amazed to see such a big screen in the classroom. They can see clearly and easily from the big screen to read words and sentences. I can easily write and erase on the interactive board to teach, and my students are more focused and engaged.
When I was using my small laptop to share my lesson slides, my students had to sit closely together trying to see the small screen.
This interactive board will continue to be very useful for my classroom and during staff meetings as well.
Thank you so much for upgrading my classroom technology! You're appreciated!”

Funded Sep 6, 2023With the gift card from TeachersPayTeachers website, I was able to purchase Science of Reading and Writing slides, Blending Lines, and Instant Digital Handwriting Teaching slides. Many students struggle to form their letters correctly in second and third grade, and these slides help show the proper formations.
The Science of Reading and Writing slides are a great resource to help with teaching reading and writing systematically. I've been tutoring a Kindergarten student at CSUN through the Reading & Literacy program, and the writing slides will be used to introduce how to make sentences.
I have another resource that I'm ready to purchase, which is drilling consonant blends and vowel teams daily so that the students can remember those crucial sounds.
Thank you so much for allowing me as a teacher to make needed purchases to enhance my students' learning. I'm so grateful!”

UFLI (You Fly) Plus 95% for Scholars!
Funded Aug 2, 2023I want to say my deepest gratitude for funding this project. With this UFLI manual provided with this project, I was able to start this fantastic, systematic, complete phonics program to help my struggling readers in 2nd and 3rd grade. This is the best program I've ever used in my 27th year of teaching. I love how complete this program is, including every component students need daily practice in learning to read fluently. The 95% posters help students with reminders and cues to tackle tricky words. Thank you so much for your generosity and for providing us with an excellent resource!”

Funded Jul 13, 2023Thank you so much for funding this project that provided fun and engaging reading games for my struggling readers. My second and third-grade students love playing these fun learning games on Fridays. We make Fridays Fun Fridays, and these hands-on games help with sight word recognition and other phonics skills that are necessary for them to become more fluent readers. We appreciate your continued support in making our learning fun and exciting! Thank you very much! Your kindness is very much appreciated!”

New Headphones for Readers!
Funded May 8, 2023Thank you so much for funding new headphones for my students. The headphones I had were falling apart and needed new ones so that they could continue to learn using the chromebooks. My students also use the chromebooks to take assessments and play learning games to read, and having comfortable headphones helps a lot. It's nice to have extra ones since these cheap headphones don't last a long time. Thank you so much for your continued support in my classroom. You're appreciated! My students thank you!”

Funded Apr 13, 2023Thank you so much for providing fun prizes for my students. My students look forward to our prize day, which is on Fridays. The rewards motivate them to come to school daily, and they are excited as they fill up their sticker chart. They love those little squishes, little fidget toys, and smelly stickers. Thank you for making their learning more fun and motivating so they can continue to learn to read successfully. Having close to 50 students takes a lot of prizes, and this won't be possible without donors like you. Thanks again!”

Calming Area
Funded Jan 3, 2023My students have been completely enjoying this calming corner area. It's been a motivational corner for them to finish and do their work. It's the only area on one side of the school where any student who needs it can come and take a break as needed. It's nice to have that option open for other teachers. The fidget toys and stress toys are fun for the students. They love the teepee and the beanbag chair. I brought in some stuffed animals and a blanket for them to enjoy together. Thank you so much for making this project possible.”

Smelly Stickers for Scholars!
Funded Aug 25, 2022My students get a sticker at the end of each class, and they absolutely love smelly stickers. They will come back for the sticker if they forget to get one. I give out 42 stickers daily to my 42 students, so that's a lot of stickers that I need daily.
With this project, I was able to get a good amount to last for a while and was able to share some to my room partner who is also a reading intervention teacher like me. She also sees 42 students daily and is very thankful.
Thank you so much for funding this project, I'm very blessed to have supporters like you!”

The prizes motivate them to attend school, and they love coming to my classroom to learn to read.
Thank you so much for your generous support and donation to make this possible and bring smiles to my students. I see 42 students daily, and I definitely need lots of prizes to give out. I truly appreciate you!”

Hot Dots for Scholars
Funded Feb 24, 2022My students absolutely love these Hot Dot Power Pens and the workbooks that teach them to learn many of the reading skills. Thanks to you, I now have enough books for a small group. From the Pre-K workbook, students are working on letter recognition, matching, rhyming and more. In the K book, students are working on beginning sounds, middle sounds, ending sounds, sight words and more. The light up sound power pens make it more fun for the students to work on these, and they ask for these books. These books make learning fun and engaging. Thank you so much for your kindness and support for making this learning possible!”
