• TouchMath for Kinder

  I've been waiting for this new math program for many years, and now I finally have it! It's a wonderful supplement to our math program. Its hands-on approach with the interactive technology, my students are even more engaged with the math activities.

  My kindergarten students will not only recognize and count with the TouchMath, they will be able to add and subtract with these unique dots on the numbers. The technology makes it even more fun! Thank you so much for your generous donations in my classroom!”

• A New Camera for Kinder Memories

  Thank you so much for your generous donations and contributions to my classroom. With this new camera, I'm able to continue to make the Kindergarten Memory Books for my students. My camera has been broken, and it is so nice to have a working camera again to take pictures and to give to my students and parents to keep forever.

  My students and parents appreciate getting those memory books every year, and I'm so happy to be able to do it. Teaching kindergarten is so much fun and getting new materials through donorschoose program has been adding more excitement in my classroom. Thank you so much!”

• Technology For Individualized Learning

  I'm so grateful for your generous donations to my classroom. With the new netbook, I'm now able to connect to my SMARTBoard so easily without having to unplug and plug it throughout the day. Because of its small size, it's easier to keep it up in the front, instead of having my students use it for their computer time. I use it throughout the day during calendar time, reading time and math time. I used to have my laptop connected to the SMARTBoard which was hard when I wanted to use my laptop for something else.

• A Laptop For the Smart

  I'm so grateful for your generous donations to my classroom. My Kinderrgarten students finally have working computers in my class! They are so excited to be able to use the computers every day! Since my laptop has a large screen and my new netbook is a lot smaller, I was able to hook up my netbook to the SMARTBoard and use the laptop for my students.

  It's so nice to have technology that works! My students can't get enough of computer time and look forward to their turn. I was able to get 2 more old computers in my classroom.

• A New Rug for Kinder

  Thank you so much for your donations to my Kindergarten classroom. The new rug is so nice and comfy! It has brightened our room so much! Now every student has their very own spot, and there's plenty of room for them to pass by. It's been so nice not having to tell my students to scoot over to make room and not touch others while sitting on the rug every 5 minutes! The day goes by so much more smoothly, and I just appreciate using it daily with my students.

• Getting Hot in Kinder

  Thank you so much for your generous donations to my classroom. My students have been using this Hot dot program, and they love it! They can't get enough of this interactive, self checking practice in letters, shapes, colors, word families and in math. Now they have something to look forward to when they are done with their assignments every day! It's a great learning tool for all students at different learning levels. My kindergartners will be definitely be ready for first grade!

• Rhyming with Kinder Students!

  I'm so thankful for your generous donations on my project. I now have more stuff to support my students' learning with rhyming. With the storage rack for the hands-on take home backpacks, my backpacks are nicely organized. Now I have a Rhyming take home backpack to circulate and have the parents help with rhyming at home. With the new Rhyming sorting game on the Smart Board, my students get to come up to the board daily to match the rhyming pictures.

• Interactive Games to the SMART!

  I'm so grateful for your generous donations! My students and I have been enjoying using these interactive Smart Board games every day. My kindergarten students are having so much fun while playing with these educational games. These games not only engage all the students to participate, they are so appropriate for learning to read and write. We love playing the rhyming games, sound sorting games and listening to different stories.

• From IBM to Smart please!

  I'm more than grateful that I got a Smart Board in my classroom. It was a blessing for me to see your Facebook page when I was working in my classroom, getting ready for the start of the new school year in August of 2011. It took our district 4 long months to finally install the Smart Board in my classroom, and I finally got to use it with my students for the very first time today (January 9, 2012)! My students and I are beyond excited to have this awesome technology in our classroom. I'm the first and the only teacher with a Smart Board at our school. My students will benefit tremendously this year and many more future students to come.”

• Kind Hands Needed for Kinder Hands-On Homework Backpacks

  Thank you so much for your generous donation to my classroom! I was so thrilled to find out that I will be actually getting these backpacks for my students.

  I'm so grateful that my students have an access to these additional resources that will help them be better prepared for 1st grade.

  My students are very excited to get their backpack every week. The parents have commented how these backpacks have benefited their children and how much they're learning with each backpack. What I love about these backpacks is that with the hands-on activities, there is parent and child interaction, and even the parents are learning something new about their own child.

  I hope the photos that I have uploaded give you a glimpse of my happy students in my class. These backpacks have truly become one of my treasured assets, and they will be used over and over again to benefit many more students in the future.
