• Cubbies for K!

  I can't tell you how happy I am with this project. I finally have a place for all my students to keep their backpacks and lunch boxes after 19 years of teaching. It's so nice to have kids hang their backpacks and put away their lunch boxes when they arrive in the morning, and get all their belongings on their own when it's time to go home. I don't have to constantly pick up their stuff from the ground! It was quite unsafe to have their backpacks laying on the classroom floor.

• I Teach K!

  I just came home from the 4 days of "I Teach K Conference" in Las Vegas. There were hundreds of teachers! I got to meet and listen to so many famous and amazing teachers. I've been wanting to reorganize and rethink about doing centers and how I teach writing to my students. I listened to many workshops from veteran teacher presenters and got lots of great ideas. There were so many vendors with great products, so I was able to buy products that I can use right away in my classroom.

• Phonics Fun for Kinders!

  Thank you so much for your generous donation again to our classroom! It's so exciting to get new materials for my students!

  The phonics stamps are so much fun, and it's an great addition to our literacy centers as students learn to say the sounds slowly to figure out the words. The magnetic word builders and the the other simple CVC word builders also provide perfect practice to my kindergarten students.

• Art Time for Tk/K!

  It's been so wonderful having these new art materials to use in my classroom. The construction papers are so bright and colorful, they will be used to make the Kindergarten Memory Books. The face painting is so fun to have, kids love it! The glitter glue has been so useful to add brightness to our art projects. The trays come in very handy with painting and also doing bubbles! The colored scissors go perfectly well with our colored tables. We know exactly where the scissors belong!

• Sounds to Our Kinder Ears!

  It's been great having the iPad headphones for our students. Now the iPads are being used as listening centers as well, not just playing the learning games. The students can concentrate on their learning and the other ones who are not on the iPads can also focus on their own learning, not distracted by the sounds.

  The speakers for the computer have been great for playing all the music, read- alouds, and with the Smart Board time, playing the games, playing math lessons, and the reading resources. These speakers do not echo like the old ones I used to have. Thank you so much for your generous donation to make our classroom an even better one!”

• iPod Center for Kinder

  Thank you so much for your generous support in my classroom. It has been so wonderful having this iPod for me as a teacher and for my students as well. It's so useful to have it as a main source of morning routine music and play all the songs and stories of our reading program. I don't use a CD player in my classroom any more. It's so much faster and easier to use the iPod instead! I think all teachers should use it and have been encouraging my colleagues to do the same. My students use the iPod as a listening center, literacy and math centers, and they can't get enough of it!

• Organized Kinder!

  Thank you so much for your generous donations to my classroom. It's been wonderful having the mailbox for my students to keep their papers organized and sorted, instead of having them all messy inside their desks. Now, I've changed my desks into tables, this mailbox has been an essential part of my classroom. Also, I absolutely love the storage unit for my centers. I was able to store all my math tub materials numbered 1 - 12, and some of the literacy centers as well. My students know exactly where to go to get their center materials, thanks to this nice storage unit.

• Apple iPad Mini for Kinder

  It's been so great having this iPad Mini for my students to use in my Kindergarten classroom. Kids look forward to their turn every day in the morning and in the afternoon during our center time. There are so many great apps that are educational and fun! A lot of these apps build phonemic awareness skills and how to form the letters correctly. The math apps help with number recognition, counting, adding, and subtracting in Kindergarten.

• Drying Up Organized for TK/K!

  Having the drying rack has been so wonderful in my classroom. It keeps all the art projects neat and organized. I don't have to worry about where to keep the projects while they are still wet. My classroom volunteer who has been helping me every day for the past four years is so thrilled about this rack. She tells me every day, "Have I told you how much I love this drying rack?" We just smile at each other!

  It's so convenient to have for any teacher, and my colleagues want one too!

  Thank you very much for your generous support in my classroom. I was blessed to get new tables this year, and I was blessed even more to get matching new chairs for my kindergarten students. I'm absolutely loving my classroom, and my colleagues just can't believe my luck. One colleague said that I was being rewarded for all my hard work, and I feel truly honored with a beautiful classroom. No more broken, rocky chairs with all different colors and sizes! I was able to get rid of them all.
