Flexible seating empowers students to take charge of their learning and make the choices that are best for them as individuals! During independent workshop times learners may choose a location in the classroom that works best for them. Currently students have choices such as: chair or no chair, finding a different table, or working on the carpet around the room. My students are noticeably more excited about their learning when they are given choice; this includes choice in where and how they want to work! The products that I have selected will help my students even more by giving them additional seating options to make healthier and more personalized learning environment choices. The wobble stools will allow students to wiggle and wobble as they write, or participate in workshop activities. Comfy floor seats will allow for additional comfortable floor seating options; they are lightweight and can be easily used in many areas of the classroom. Balance balls will help students improve core strength while also incorporating movement.
