As a 9th grade English teacher, I am trying to grow my classroom library. I have gathered books from a local "free book sale," from library books sales, and from friends. However, many of the books I have been able to get are either outdated or girly. "You don't have any books for boys in here, do you?" was a question one of my male students asked me a few weeks ago. I am trying to get more male-interest books, but with limited funds, that is difficult to do. So I started doing some research and have found some good male-interest books that I hope will pique their interest and get them reading!
