  • Materials Needed

    Funded Aug 24, 2018

Thank you all so much for your generous donations. These materials that we received are essential to our classroom community. For example, we received numerous boxes of tissues that we could use throughout the school year to keep students healthy and provide them with tissues to use during flu season. Also, we were able to receive hand soap, sanitizer and paper towels. These are all necessary to keep our classroom clean and safe for all. Due to your donations we were also able to get new pencils, pencil sharpener and brand new table bins were students could store their materials. Pencils are vital to all classrooms and my students will not go without them this school year!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Neddermeyer

My students are so grateful for all the supplies that we were able to purchase because of your donations. They use these different materials on a regular basis and they make sure the materials are taken care of. The items that we acquired from your generous donations include: paper towels, napkins, tissues, hand sanitizer, hand soap, erasers, a pencil sharpener, plates, cups, utensils, pencils and timers. • Keeping our Environment Clean and Safe for All

    Funded Feb 21, 2017

I would like to thank all of you for your generous donations. These donations helped our classroom in so many ways. We received so many important and useful resources through your donations. These items included: tissues, napkins, crayons, hand sanitizer, soap, cups, plates, utensils, pencil sharpener, and other cleaning supplies. Our students use these materials/tools on a daily basis. The cleaning supplies are used at the end of everyday to make sure we maintain a healthy environment. We wipe off the tables and chairs after we have been using them all day. The markers and crayons are used for project based learning. Lastly, the plates, cups, utensils and napkins are used when we have a class celebration for finishing our work and to celebrate other accomplishments.

The students were very grateful for all the donations that were given because this meant new supplies for our classroom. They were so happy to receive a new pencil sharpener because our last one had broke making it very difficult for us to have proper pencils to use. They also loved that we received tissues, hand sanitizer and soap because we had been very low on these essential materials. If we don't have these things then it makes it hard to maintain a healthy and clean working environment. Lastly, they were super excited to receive new crayons and markers because the ones we had were getting old and run down.

Our classroom is currently working on project based learning in which students show what they know about a topic through the use some type of project. For example, if learning about the American Revolution they choose a project they would like to create where they could tell what they know about this topic. The type of projects include: Songs, posters, or essays.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Neddermeyer

Our classroom is lacking supplies that help spread germs. As a teacher, I want to see my students in school everyday ready to learn. However, there are many times when they are absent for several days in a row because they have the flu or a cold. These paper towels, hand soaps/sanitizers and tissues will help to create a healthy classroom environment. Class 401, is also in need of pencils, dry erase markers, crayons and a pencil sharpener because we have a very limited amount of these essential tools. These types of writing materials are crucial to an effective classroom. in addition, these materials are constantly being utilized which makes it harder for a teacher to keep up with the demand. Therefore, a small donation of these items will go a long way. Lastly, I have included plates, cups and utensils because often times we have celebrations for student achievements in and out of the classroom!
