  • Celebrating Positivity Schoolwide

    Funded Sep 19, 2024

Positivity creates opportunities for large amounts of success within the classroom. Acknowledging and honoring little glimpses and large events of positivity, spreads a long way. With these new resources, students will be rewarded for their positive actions and interactions from work completion, kind interactions, volunteering, class participation, and more!

When we received the project materials, student were unable to contain their enthusiasm. They quickly offered to help me unbox, organize, and set up the new incentives.

The next few months, students will be highly engaged and motivated, due to the new incentives being offered and the ability to earn these high valued prizes!

Thank you, as always for being part of this ongoing classroom of success.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Morrow-Anderson

  • Care in Every Corner

    Funded Oct 25, 2024

Thank you for continued care and support for our students, school, and community. Our new resources helped to create a corner of the the classroom where students can gain access to personal care items with no questions asked. This helps maintain productivity within the classroom by allowing students to easily access items without having to go to another location. Students reduce distraction and increase comfortability.

Without the support from the community, this project would not be possible! We are excited to see projects funded in the future!”

  • Personal Products

    Funded Oct 31, 2024

Thank you for donating to my classroom and students. We are grateful for this project being considered and funded so quickly. I look forward to creating a station where students are able to freely and comfortably go to access personal products as needed. The support from the community is the best, thank you!”

  • Keeping It All Together

    Funded Oct 28, 2024

I’m blown away with the generosity of the community coming together to fund another project for our classroom of learners. Creating a clean and calm classroom environment not only helps generate a conducive learning environment, but also a calming environment for students to complete assessments in. I’m so exciting to put the finishing touches on my classroom.”

  • Creating a Compassion Closet

    Funded Sep 9, 2024

We are immensely grateful for the ongoing support from our donors, which has made a significant impact in our classroom. This project is especially meaningful to my students, as it provides a discreet location stocked with essential products they can access in times of need.

When we learned that this project was completed, my students felt a great sense of relief. They now have easy access to these materials within their daily environment, allowing them to take what they need without drawing attention. This thoughtful setup helps them maintain their dignity and independence.

Our next project aims to enhance the classroom environment by providing items to display and celebrate the students' hard work on the walls. Please check it out and stay tuned for more exciting classroom updates throughout the year!

Thank you once again for your generous support.”

  • Chromebook Chargers for Student Success

    Funded Jun 13, 2024

Thank you once again for your continued support of our classroom, students, and grade level. Both teachers and students were thrilled to start the school year with chargers compatible with their devices. In today's technology-driven world, having a charged device is crucial for students to fully engage with their middle school classes. These chargers ensure that students can stay connected throughout the day, access their classes, complete assignments, and communicate even outside of school hours.

What excites the students the most is the flexibility to charge their computers in any class if they forget to do so at home, thanks to the support from this project. This convenience provides a safety net, allowing students to stay on track without added stress.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Morrow-Anderson

  • Back for the Basics

    Funded Mar 19, 2024

Thank you for your continued support of our classroom. We had a fantastic start to the school year, thanks to the generous donations from this project. The students were thrilled and grateful to receive new telescoping binders, which are helping them stay organized. They especially enjoyed choosing their own binder colors! Additionally, the hole puncher provided has made it easy for them to organize their papers.

Seeing these donated materials, the students felt deeply touched by the support from others. They were excited to have new resources that will help them navigate the school year and enhance their educational experience.

Looking ahead, we have several exciting projects planned. We aim to create a compassion closet to provide personal care items and gather materials to further enhance our classroom environment. Please continue to follow our classroom's journey as we grow and develop throughout the year.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Morrow-Anderson

  • Compassion in the Classroom

    Funded Aug 6, 2024

Thank you for supporting our classroom and students. The new resources created a buzz of excitement during the first few days of school. The "compassion corner," made possible with your generous donations, quickly became a favorite. Students eagerly used this station to create beautiful cards for various occasions, learning the value of compassion through their efforts to bring joy to others during celebrations and times of need.

We are deeply grateful for the opportunity to teach and experience compassion through your donations. These materials not only enrich our classroom but also help us extend kindness to our school and community.

We look forward to sharing success stories and updates with you as we continue to make the most of these wonderful resources. Please stay tuned for new projects and developments in our classroom.”

  • Quest for Classroom Basics

    Funded May 25, 2024

Thank you again for continuing to support and believe in our classroom and students. Students are using these materials to get off to a swift start to this school year. Students felt prepared with pencils and other materials to help them successfully navigate the first few days.

Upon receiving these materials, students were humbled and elated. They felt that the donations were generous. They were elated because they felt cared for and taken care of on their first few days back to school.

Up next, we are hoping to get a few projects funded. One project is creating a compassion closet, and the other project is to tie the classroom together with neutral decoration items, positive post cards to send home, and materials to hang class work and models on the brick walls!”

  • Birthday Books

    Funded Dec 18, 2023

Thank you for sharing the importance of reading and helping to celebrate my students birthdays! Many love to read books, adults and children alike, however the difference is that students do not always have access to a shelf of books. By having a drawer of birthday books, students can be encouraged to read through choice of a brand new book, while also feeling celebrated.

Reading in my classroom is typically a work in progress. Many students do not express a love for reading, yet, because they are reading below grade level. To them, this doesn't feel like an opportunity to learn, it feels like a struggle. Receiving a book of their choice on their birthday, will allow them to take reading home and encourage them to read in an environment outside of school.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Morrow-Anderson

This classroom project was brought to life by A family that cares about Boston and 3 other donors.
With funding for classroom calculators, students will not only be able to check their success within completion of math problems during class, but they will also be able to learn how to complete real-world problems using a calculator. Learning to use a calculator will better assist students in solving problems they may encounter in everyday life outside the classroom. Students will take classroom lessons and apply it to areas in their lives such as budgeting for spending, interest rates, and more. Students will become more invested knowing the real life application of math content learned within the classroom.
