This classroom project was brought to life by Bill Gates and 5 other donors.Games Galore
Funded Jan 23, 2022It was such a pleasure to see the looks on my students face when we collectively opened all the boxes. The generosity that all of you have shown through your contibutions/donations allowed my students to be rewarded for all their hard work.
Your donations provided my students with games that allow them to practice the necessary social skilles needed. These games also allowed them an escape of the mind. They have worked tirelessly and needed the distraction to celebrate their achievements. It is with a heart full of joy that my students and I thank you.”

Mrs. Moran's Reading Adventures
Funded Sep 24, 2021It is with a heart full of joy that I write this thank you letter. It is through all of your kind donations that I can provide my students with a classroom condusive for learning. Your donations have provided my students with reading material that is not normally in a classroom library, now my students can read books that they like and enjoy . Independent reading has become a "are we doing independent reading today?". Hearing these words makes what I do worth it. Reading has become an escape for many of my students. Once again thank you for all your donations and for giving my students to read text that they love.”

Mrs. Moran's Superstars Readers
Funded Dec 16, 2020It is with a heart full of nothing but gratitude that I write this letter on behave of my students. This year was a year like non other and when I walked into my classroom as first year teacher I did not know where to start. It was overwhelming to think of how I was going to conpensate for not being able to have my student work together as partners and share materials. It was a vetern teacher that told me about the amazing things that Donors Choose does and the amazing donors that make life easy for teachers like my self. All of the reading books that were possible to get for my students gave my student an opportunity to enjoy reading materials that interested them. This not only gave my students variety in the classroom but improved their reading levels by up to 6 levels. The abundance of reading materials also gave the students in my classroom that were unable to purchase books of their own an opportunity to enjoy their favoriate books in the classroom. The supplies that were provided to decorate the classroom allow me to create a classroom setting that my studnets felt was a second home. Writing was a challenge in my classroom, but allowing my students to pick from an assortment of colored paper made a difference that I did not think possible. Words will never be enough to true thank you all for your contribution to my classrom.”
