Thank you again for your generous donations to my project, "Color Me Organized!" Your donations will help my students learn important organization skills. All of our classwork and important papers will be secured in these folders with prongs - no loose papers floating around! Color coding each subject helps my students stay organized and find things easily. Thanks for helping us learn these important life skills!
Since we are a Title I school and many families also just experienced extreme hardships due to Hurricane Ian, I am so happy to be able to provide these materials for my students so their parents don't have to worry about school supplies.
Thanks for your help!”

Mrs. Maiolo

Thank you again for your generous donations to my project, "THEME =THE MEssage of the Story." Today is our first day back at school after Hurricane Ian devastated our city with both wind and flooding. We have lost 3 weeks of instruction. Our students have lost their homes, and our school took on significant damage. Any and all engaging resources I can provide for my students this year are going to make a huge difference!
We have already been using these books of fables to study character traits, plot, and theme of literature. The stories are short and have a lesson which makes them perfect for this unit of study!
Thank you again for your generous donations to my project, "The Other Side of the Story." Today is our first day back at school after Hurricane Ian devastated our city with both wind and flooding. We have lost 3 weeks of instruction. Our students have lost their homes, and our school took on significant damage. Any and all engaging resources I can provide for my students this year are going to make a huge difference!
Point of view is a difficult concept for third graders. I hope that reading these fun fairy tales from different perspectives will help them understand it better.
Thanks so much for your support!”

Thank you again for your generous donations to my project, "Reading About Our Right to Vote." Today is our first day back at school after Hurricane Ian devastated our city with both wind and flooding. We have lost 3 weeks of instruction. Our students have lost their homes, and our school took on significant damage. Any and all engaging resources I can provide for my students this year are going to make a huge difference!
With election season coming up, these books will add to our existing curriculum to help my students understand these important leaders from the past in a more concrete way.
Thanks so much for your support!”

Thank you again for your generous donations to my project, "Line Up Those Numbers!" I love using graph paper for math - it helps students organize their thinking. Having graph paper in notebook form is so much better than loose pieces of paper everywhere. My students will be able to see their growth and learning as they look back through their notebook throughout the year.
These notebooks will help us with Alignment of Numbers and Columns, Neatness and Number Size, Handwriting (penmanship) and number formation. Using graph paper is very effective for visual learners and visual discrimination.
Thanks for providing my students with these notebooks - they love them and I love how they help them organize their thinking!”

Thank you again for your generous donations to my project, "Can You Hear Me Now?" These new headphones are extremely nice. They include a microphone which is important for several computer programs my students use, especially my English Language Learners.
Although many students do bring their own from home, they often do not include a microphone and are often easily breakable. These kid friendly headphones are durable and will last a long time! And I don't need to worry about who does/doesn't have their own headphones.
Thank you so much for donating to my project, "Happy Numbers = Happy Kids!"
I am using Happy Numbers as a math intervention (or in some cases, enrichment) for my students. It provides each student with individualized math instruction at their level.
Over the course of the pandemic, students have developed gaps in various academic areas. Programs like this help to individualize instruction to fill in these gaps. My students have made great progress in math this year, part in thanks to this program!
Thank you so much for helping to fund this awesome resource!”

When I wrote this project, I thought we would all be back to "normal" this school year. That is obviously not the case. The subscription to Raz-Kids and Headsprout purchased through this project have turned out to be an invaluable resource for this strange school year!
These two programs have been amazing as a reading intervention (or in some cases, enrichment) for my students. Raz-kids has provided my students with access to more books to read. Headsprout has helped my assess their abilities in reading and address the many gaps that have occurred over the course of the pandemic.
Thank you so much for helping to fund this awesome resource!”

Thank you again for your generous donations to my project, "Learning Math is So Rewarding!" The books, games, pencils, and other fun math items from this project have been a great motivator for my students this year! Every time we finish a topic in math and complete a set number of online assignments, the students receive a certificate, book, pencil, etc. The students work hard for these prizes!
In a school year where so many things have been different and many things have been taken away from kids due to social distancing, these prizes have helped keep my students motivated and excited about learning! Thank you!”

My team and I cannot thank you enough for donating to this project, "Enhance Our Reading Instruction" - the materials we purchased from Teachers Pay Teachers have helped us provide our students with more opportunities to practice answering questions and completing graphic organizers related to our new reading text.
We as teachers have struggled with this new curriculum this year and our students have struggled as well. Student and teacher friendly materials make things run more smoothly for everyone. Thanks for your help!”

I teach third grade at a diverse, Title I school in southwest Florida. Our students come from numerous cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. We are one of 27 schools chosen by The Early Childhood Technical Assistance Center (ECTAC) for "Exceeding Expectations." Through lots of hard work on the part of administration, teachers, parents, and students, our school continues to succeed.
