Funded May 8, 2024Thank you so much for supporting this project! Our students have loved having these reading trackers to help engage them during literacy. The little highlighted part of each tracker helps students focus on the specific words they are reading, and they make great bookmarks. Our students were excited to have their own reading tracker that they can use all year long, and hopefully for a few more years to come!
I appreciate your support and dedication to education. The public school system and its teachers rely on generous people like you to help where funding falls short, and I am so grateful for your thoughtful gift. Thank you for the fun reading trackers for our school, and for helping make sure that every child can become a reader!”

Be Heard- Every Student Has a Voice!
Funded Aug 5, 2023Thank you so much for the incredible support for our class! This grant allowed every single student in my class to have band aids that match their exact skin tone. A simple act of inclusion, your donation helped students feel more seen and connected to our school community.
The encouraging, positive posters and bulletin board sets have been a wonderful asset in our class and help brighten our room. These uplifting posters are seen by not only our class, but all the passing classes who walk past our classroom and see our bulletin boards and welcome easel.
We are so thankful to have the cool voice amplifier! Because of your donation, we are able to better communicate in our classroom, and every voice can be heard. Your support has made our classroom a better place to be!”

Write On! Tools to Help Our Writing
Funded Nov 30, 2022Your donation helped get spell-checkers in the hands of young writers, and they love them! Thank you so much for providing these powerful tools to help our class become better writers. Unlike a regular computer, which has plenty of distractions and temptations for off-task behavior, our new spell checkers simply check the spelling of misspelled words. Even better, if students are able to sound out a word and write a letter for every sound, 90% of the time, the spell checker is able to find their word. This is infinitely faster and easier than using a dictionary or even dictionary.com, where definitions are full of words that students do not yet know.
The magnetic wipe boards you helped our class get have been AMAZING! Students were immediately enthralled with the new writing medium, and it has greatly reduced the amount of paper waste in our classroom. For short writing projects, like individual word dictation, these magnetic wipeboards are absolutely perfect. They also came in handy during our Magnet Day for science learning!
Thank you again for your generous support of our classroom community; we appreciate your help getting the resources we need!”

Funded Oct 13, 2022Thank you so much for your support of our classroom financial literacy program! My students are so excited to delve into our economics unit at the end of the year, and we have already put the continents and oceans learning center to good use! As we began our geography unit, individual students had the opportunity to do the four continents and oceans activities, furthering their understanding of our global geography.
With your help, we're also ready to dive into learning about finances, including the differences between needs and wants. These are life skills that will help students build their financial success in the future; budgeting is vital for adulthood and can be built in elementary school. Setting weekly goals as well as long term goals are important in our classroom, too. These resources will also help during our history lessons and cultural learning.
Your support made this project possible, and I am so thankful that my students have these fun resources to help with their learning!”

Time for Timers! Developing Focus with Visual Timers
Funded Dec 16, 2021Thank you so much for your generous donations towards this project! Because of your help, my students now have enough timers to test their own fluency on their math facts with. The visual timers are particularly helpful for my friends who tend to get distracted. These timers have been so well received in my class, and students are excited to use them! The timers are particularly helpful when we are doing independent work. Students love to time themselves and track their improvement over time. Thank you again for your wonderful support of my students!”

Growing Together: Social Emotional Resources
Funded Sep 9, 2021Thank you so much these amazing resources! Finding classroom materials that help students build their social emotional skills can be difficult. These amazing posters & materials help not just my class, but the entire school, as they are displayed in the hallway for all to see! You are impacting hundreds of children's lives for the better.
Your donation made an amazing growth mindset bulletin board and activity possible in our classroom as well! A number of students started the school year with a fixed, pessimistic mindset. These resources have helped them grow into more positive, growth–oriented people! What a gift the positive and uplifting messages on the posters you gave us are! Thank you again for your amazing support!”

Funded Sep 2, 2021These books have made such a wonderful difference in the lives of my students! Our library is more complete now that it holds a fuller spectrum of people; people of color, of differing abilities, of different cultures are now well-represented. Reading these books aloud to my class and discussing how we are both alike and wonderfully different has been incredible for them. They are able to recognize both similarities between themselves and others as well as celebrate unique qualities of others. They are able to recognize people with abilities and backgrounds they have never known about before.
Because of your donation, my students are better able to understand and appreciate people from a variety of backgrounds. I thank you for helping making a few more little world citizens respectful, understanding, and loving people!”

Funded Sep 2, 2020This set of multicultural books is absolutely amazing! My students love these books! I am so excited to have these texts to share with my students for many years to come. Kids are naturally curious, and they want to learn about other cultures and people. I am happy to have more books that represent more of my students. These resources are a wonderful asset to have when teaching tolerance, understanding, and respect for other cultures. Thank you so much for your wonderful support of this project, and for bringing about more unity in the world!”

Stay on Track with Reading Trackers!
Funded Aug 12, 2020These reading trackers have been such a blessing to our students! For my students who have trouble paying attention or keeping focus, these really help them stay on the same line as the rest of the class when we are reading together. These cool trackers increase engagement with reading. As a teacher, I can see exactly where my students are on the page, and help them refocus if needed. Many students just like them because it is fun to highlight what they are reading. These have been very helpful reading tools, even in distance-learning! Thank you so much for your generous donation towards this project!”
