They say to dress for the job you want, not for the job you have. This can also be applied to the workspace. When our young students enter the science classroom, it's important to set the science scene for their inquisitive minds. A laboratory is known to be clean and sanitary. It's difficult for us to keep the ideal learning environment for our scientist in a shared space. The science room is also the library, music room, space for after school programs, and whole school meetings. We hope to transform our science room into an ideal laboratory where our space is clean and sanitary for scientific studies and research. Our students come from homes where both parents work, and childcare can be an issue if there is no school. Our children often come to school sick. To reduce contamination of our large work space, I am requesting humidifiers and air purifiers to combat the germs in the air, sanitary wipes, and a swiffer mop to keep the surfaces and floor clean. Your support will help our stuffy scientists engage in important research to develop their scientific minds.
