Moving to Learn
Funded Apr 18, 2017Thank you so much for the wonderful items that you helped bring into the classroom. The stability ball, carpet, bounce bands, and stability disc have all been such a big hit with the students. They love coming in and choosing a new seat to try out each time. They are learning how they best study and which chairs are best for them, and which ones they should stay away from if they don't want to fall asleep in class.
The addition of the storage cart has been another blessing. Being able to have a specific place to keep their papers has helped keep the paper/book chaos of the classroom to a minimum.
You are all such a great extension of the classroom and the process that it takes to teach our students. If it weren't for you our students would not continue to learn how to love learning. It is my goal that they each leave my class with a renewed love for learning and school. This is such a pivotal time in their educational career. They decide at this age if they are going to be able to enjoy the next few years of school or just endure them. With a room like this one has become, thanks to you, they are more likely to learn to love coming to school and know that not all teachers are bad, not all rooms will be dull, and that they will never know what new things will be around the corner.
Thank you for helping these students this year and the ones that are to come.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Loeffelholz
Web Based Learning
Funded May 28, 2016Thank you so much for all of your help and support in making our classroom wishes come true! We are now able to do research and read numerous books in our classroom with ease. We are able to learn without having to make time consuming trips to other areas of the building and use outdated materials. Being able to not only save time in trips and being able to get accurate, updated information, allows us to do more projects and see more things than we otherwise would have been able to. Thank you for allowing our student the opportunity to learn in a modern, accessible way!”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Loeffelholz
