  • ABCs Are Fun For Me!

    Funded Dec 5, 2024

Wow! I am so excited to be able to add these learning resources to my classroom! I know my students are going to love these fun interactive games, they won't even know they're learning!

Generous donors like you make a tough job like mine so much easier! I am grateful to have your support for my kindergarten students! A million thanks!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Lewis

  • Minecraft At School

    Funded Nov 13, 2024

Thank you once again for your generous donations! My students have just loved using these Mine Craft magnetic blocks! They are so much fun and since they are magnetic the building possibilities are truly endless!

Mine Craft is such a popular game that my students love. It has been amazing to watch them integrate a favorite pastime into a learning opportunity. They don't even know they are learning! They think they are playing and that is definitely a teacher win!

Your support means the world to us, and it's going to make a huge difference in the projects we're working on.

These blocks will be used in so many ways—whether it's helping to build homes, schools, or community spaces, your contribution is already having an impact. We truly appreciate your kindness and the role you play in helping us move forward with our work.”

    With gratitude,

  • "Weigh" To Go!

    Funded Apr 22, 2024

Thank you so much for your generous donations! We have had such a great time using the balance scales during math. They make measuring and estimating so much more fun! The students were able to improve their math scores thanks to this addition to our lessons.

Your support not only provided us with essential tools but also demonstrated your commitment to education and learning in an urban setting. The balance scales will enable us to provide hands-on learning experiences for students, which is vital for our ongoing projects and initiatives.

Your generosity makes a real difference and inspires us to continue our work with renewed enthusiasm.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Lewis

  • Indoor Recess? Again?

    Funded Jan 19, 2024

Thank you so much for your recent donations for indoor recess in our classroom! The children have loved playing with the new toys and therefore now love indoor recess!

The marble run maze is super popular with all the children and they love seeing their marbles travel through all the tubes! It has proven to be a great challenge for many of them and I love to see them able to persevere and get excited when their patience pays off! The Potato head family is also a hit! I cannot tell you how many countless options and combinations they have come up with! I have seen many many creative potato people! Thank you again for your support!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Lewis

  • Magic Carpet

    Funded Sep 21, 2022

Thank you so much for your donations! We were able to purchase a large class rug for our meeting space. The rug is so colorful and bright and definitely brightens up our room! The kids were so excited when it got delivered to our room and we unrolled it!

Now we can sit comfortably and listen to a story, play a math game or even just chill out for a second! Every student has their own designated spot to sit on. They are perfectly spaced out and everyone has a great view when I am reading a story. We are so thankful!”

  • Laminate This!

    Funded Dec 4, 2021

Thank you so much for your kind donations! I know this project maybe isn't as "fancy" as some of the others, but still very needed! Things like lamination and velcro are kind of the unsung heroes of a kindergarten classroom, so we thank you incredibly!

The students are always so touched when they hear that someone anonymous donated to our classroom. Their 5 year old eyes light up with gratitude and wonder. My hope is that through your generosity, they learn the value and the impact one act of kindness can have, and spread it!

Having these materials in the classroom makes our day to day life run smoothly. For one example, the children use laminated velcro paw prints (our school mascot is a lion) to move from center to center. Center time is the most valued part of our day. The children have choice over their learning, they work in groups with other kids, discover how centers are connected and learn about responsibility in getting their work done on time throughout the week. Having the paw prints makes the organization and management a breeze for the students and for the teachers! Your donation is always very much appreciated! Thank you so much!”

  • Please "Take" a Seat!

    Funded Aug 21, 2021

Thank you once again for your kind donations. My students and I are very excited about their new Surf chairs! It seems to give them a sense of freedom and independence when working in our classroom. Now they can work in a place in the room that works for them and not have to sit in a traditional chair with everyone else. Young children like to have a feeling of being in charge and these Surf chairs provide that for them. I love watching the children choose a good spot to work and love watching them work with a sense of pride, accomplishment, independence and fun! Thank you again for donating for my classroom! I love it here!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Lewis

Our district is about to begin a new Kindergarten curriculum that provides children with opportunities to learn through play. We're bringing the fun back to kindergarten! One of the centers the children will "play" and work at is the Blocks Center. Here the children will be able to plan, build, create and recreate many structures that show what the children are learning (ie animal habitats, community helpers, our Earth). The blocks in my classroom now are old, lacking and are all one material. The variety of these new materials will allow the children to use the blocks that will best show their learning. I cannot wait to see what is coming!
