The wonderful project placed before you is needed to support educational growth in my students. Very little technological and hands-on resources are accessible to my kids at home, and my classroom is the most influential environment they have to prepare them for their future. Sadly, I only have a few working laptops in my room for my language arts and science students to use. With these tough economic times, my school district is unable give additional needed resources. A large portion of our new common core standards surround technology and hands-on learning. Without classroom resources, my students are already disadvantaged towards mastering these "technological" skills. My goal is to acquire reliable classroom technology so my students can complete various research-based projects according to our new standards. You, too, can help them learn. Will you help the process along? Thanks!
