  • Headphones for Online Learning

    Funded Sep 21, 2021

Thank you so much for the headphones donation. My students were super excited to see them. They were super excited. They use the headphones complete their Iready lessons and take the tests online in Math and Reading. They really enjoy the privacy they have to focus on their work. The headphones allow my students to work with minimal distractions and are kept focus. They also use them to listen to learning videos for math, science, and social studies. We noticed an improvement in their Iready acheivments after using the headphones.”

  • Supplies for Safety!

    Funded Dec 9, 2020

These new resources were a hit in my classroom. The students were able to have their own supply kits. They were super excited. Many of their families are unable to afford new supplies for school, so your donations made this possible for my wonderful students. Also, since there was a no sharing policy during covid, having their own supplies kept them healthy and safe. They were able to color, draw, write, and glue whenever they needed to in the classroom. The supply boxes kept everything neat and organized for them as well.

    Thank you again!”

  • Dry Erase Boards for Exciting Math Time!

    Funded Dec 28, 2017

Thank you so much for your generous donation! My students and I will be using the materials that you donated for hands on math. They will be using the ones blocks for multiplication and division. Each student will have a bad of them to use for making and dividing equal groups. The white boards will be used during math lessons for the students to solve the math problems. The students love using them because it's easy to erase.

My students are going to be very excited when they see these materials. I know that they will add to their excitement for math.”

  • Hush Hush! Headphones for Quiet Online Learning!

    Funded Dec 29, 2017

Thank you so much for donating headphones to my classroom. My students benefited very much from this donation.

Each student has a school given device to use at home and at school. When they are at school, learning on Iready or reading on Epic, they were able to keep out distractions and really listen to what was being taught in the lessons. This impacted their learning for the positive. I noticed their math and reading levels move up. They were also able to be successful on their diagnostic tests due to these headphones. They made a world of a difference.

The students were so excited and grateful to have their own headphones to use. By having their own and not having to share, it kept their headphones clean and sanitary for only them to use.

It really also helped that the students whose parents could not afford to buy them headphones for the classroom, they were now able to have. a pair of their very own.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Giambrone

  • We Want To Be.....Wonderful Writers!

    Funded Dec 29, 2011

My students and I used the vocabulary books to record our new vocabulary words so that we have place to refer back to them time and time again. This book gave us the opportunity to expand our vocabulary knowledge. The folders were used to keep writing pieces organized throughout the writing process for the students. It helped give them a visual of what the writing process entails.

My students were so excited when they saw the new materials. They are colorful, and super kid friendly.

The students continued to use the vocabulary books to fill in frayer models to expand their vocabulary throughout the different subjects. For writing, they wrote in different genres. They wrote personal narratives, persuasive speeches, information books, baby literary essays, and fairytales.”

    Funded Dec 28, 2010

On behalf of my students and partner teacher, I would like to thank you for your generous donation to my classroom. My students now have a beautiful library unit that hold their leveled library. The books are now able to be kept need, orderly, and easy for the children to find the books that they want to read. The students were amazed by how nice it looks. Also, the new pocket chart stands allow the students to be interactive with weekly vocabulary and spelling words. Our old one was broken and unsafe for the students to use on their own.

Once, again, we are very grateful for your generosity!”
